Playing Replay Wonder near the end of Age 1 to deny one action of opponent and then start Age 2 is such a nasty combo in my opinion. Pantheon just make this combo more unfamous, and more unbalanced. The way to decide who start in next Age really sucks in 7WD, and definitely needs change if a 2nd edition is on the way. Maybe I'm wrong lol. Looking forward to your research and advise, great Job!

What kind of date will the paper cover? Asking and throwing in some ideas at the same time. Wonders win/pick rates? Specific cards win/pick rates? Prefered order of picking cards from the pyramid? Build rate of extra turn wonders in certain ages? Corelations between certain card picks and other cards/wonders/progress tokens?

@@arthasthelichking6213 And maybe some suggestion on how to change the cost of certain cards. I always find the Age2 3-gold 1-shield red card not that appealing.

@@arthasthelichking6213 The upcoming paper will include data on: pick rates for wonders, progress tokens, and some cards; build rate of wonders in age I (in particular, extra-turn wonders); win rates of first/second player for each victory type; win rates for a few variants aimed at reducing the first-player advantage. Later on, we would also like to write a second paper, with more details and more data. Thanks for throwing in your ideas; they definitely make sense!

Sadly it looks like 65% 1st player wins, 35% 2nd player wins. Very sad and it is not like 2nd player Zeus AI is better at military, civ, or science. Even in each individual win rate compared, the 2nd player is a lower more often.

Difficile dirlo con esattezza. Le idee ho iniziato a buttarle giù lo scorso febbraio. Sulla modellazione del Carducci ci abbiamo lavorato un po' Alessandro ed io lo scorso luglio, poi hanno continuato lui e Giovanni qualche settimana fa. Il resto (doppiaggio e altri effetti grafici) l'abbiamo fatto io e Ugo tra settembre e dicembre.
