Companies are cost cutting with touch panels. They are not safe to use on the road, especially when some features require navigating mulltiple nested levels. IIHS should deduct safety points based on the distraction. Also, companies are adding electric doors. In case of total power failure, doors with electric locking system are very difficult to open (ex. In case of flash flooding). People are dying because they cannot getnout of their own vehicle. Many were burnt to death just in 2024. IIHS should also deduct points based on emergency features.

This car is not lexus ux hybrid, big difference in the crash test of hybrid.

Is IIHS the reason why new car lights are extremely bright? It is so annoying to now drive at night as every car lights are so bright and hurtful to look at.

I would love to see this model sienna vs a 90's GM truck, it would be a perfect example of how safer these new Toyotas are than old vehicles that they say are "tougher". The sienna will eat the truck in a crash

The STRUCTURE of the car held up very, very well and the airbags and safety belts did a great job of keeping occupants from hitting hard surfaces and submarining as well. Hence, all the great reviews!

Headlight of new vehicles should have a maximum height allowance no matter how big or tall they are. Headlight location height should not exceed the height of the tallest sedan headlight location! Cause no matter how good headlight designs are, if they are located at the height of a sedan driver head, it will blind them drivers at night!

I have contacted the IIHS numerous times about the issue with these LED headlights and nothing has been done. 90 percent of these SUVs and Pick up trucks are blinging oncoming traffic!! Why are these big vehicles even allowed!!!!!!!

The safety of rear passengers has been neglected for far too long and needs to be improved a lot. Why are there no airbags on the back of the front seats and why are rear side airbags still an option or unavailable on a lot of vehicles?

Please add an evaluation of the tailllights and penalize for red turn signals and any combination lamps. Tailllights need to have separate running, brake and amber turn signals. Tailllights on most USDM vehicles are very poor and I don't understand why. Is it ignorance, incompetence or an affinity for less effective and ambiguous taillights?
