I like how Swirl cleans up the pattern and makes it very crisp and smooth at the same time.

Looks a lot like Honey to me, have you guys done genetic testing yet to ensure it's not something already around?
@dprcoldblood80627 күн бұрын
@@Geekd Honey is a BEL, super Honey is fully white
@Geekd7 күн бұрын
@dprcoldblood8062 that's fair but have you seen a Super Honey? I haven't as no one has said they've produced one that I can find, and not all BEL complex animals go white in homozygous form. "Het" Daddy for example doesn't go white in it's super form, from what I understand its a dominant trait on its own and doesn't create BELs with the other mutations in the complex but instead enhances color. That's the difference between a Lesser Platinum (lesser) and a Platinum(lesser het daddy). However, since the supers are clowns that look like regular honey clowns can we be positive they are actually supers? Regardless I feel like these look similar to several morphs available already, honey was my first thought as it was key on looks wise. But we also have a lot of morphs that are similar in these light pattern mutations with nice brightening qualities. Cypress is another. You mentioned Lace, though I'm not sure I see that one personally but I know someone else mentioned it. Is this from wild caught African lineage? You never really gave any backstory and that really makes a difference in dinker genes. We really don't need to be repeating the mistakes of the past and relabeling already established mutations because we now have easy access to testing to make quick work of solidifying if a trait is unique to others. I just don't understand why anyone working with more subtle and less individually distinct dinkers wouldn't attempt to ensure it's genetically unique and present that along with the reveal.

@ I've made super Honey, they are indeed white.
@dprcoldblood80627 күн бұрын
@ those supers look nothing like a Honey Clown... which I've also made. I think I've hatched probably over 30 honey this season alone. That's not it.
@Geekd7 күн бұрын
@@dprcoldblood8062 I've seen a few honey clown and they look pretty much exactly like that to me honestly, but you are seeing them in person so there's likely differences your seeing we can't. That's unfortunately part of showing animals in media as opposed to in person. You should put your super honeys out there also, because no one else has. Just send the pictures to MM Morphpedia, and/or create a collection listing so they can be found when searching the Internet. I get it might not be worth the time and energy to post to socials at this point as it's not a new project. I'd have hoped someone would have put the info out there in the beginning but I guess no one thought to.

Could it be an issue with the paint and cypress combo causing a genetic mutation in some animals, like some combos cause wobble and other genetic issues?
