It does not matter every offcial should travel economy. No excpetion no matter how long the flight is. this the the problem with these people. The question should be why should anyone travel business class no matter how long the flight is. Only the president should travel first class everyone else economy.

The executive is always intfering on budget matters. Tell the executive to change its ways and follow the laws on budget matters. Thats where the problem starts with the executive. Uhuru did it and Ruto did it by going beyond what the budget says. They have controll of the treasury and treasury has to fudge its numbers to meet the executive orders.

What sacrifices are legislators willing to make. Its not just the executive its you legistlators that have brought us to this place. Are you willing to do the following: -Mps get paid a hefty salary one of the highest in Africa and in the world based on a countries GDP. On top of this they get sitting allowances for a job they already get paid to do. They also get allowances for houses and cars. They pay 3% on housing and the govt subsidizes the rest. Market rates are 9%-10%. All Kenyans pay market rates, why should MPS who are servants of the people get this benefit including cars. No wonder every MP, CS included once appointed move to the most posh residences in Kenya and build mansions in their rural homes. Mps are so far removed from the people who elected them thats why they did not blink an eye to include bread, milk and sanitary pads in the finance bill for a tax hike. They did not even blink an eye by removing school feeding programs. All these should never have been included. The money should go to school feeding programs all over the country no child shall go to school hungry. This to will spur rural economies as the farmers have a ready market to provide their produce to schools.

Audit the 600b education budget. Where does it go. this money can easily afford free education for all Kenyans from primary to university.

No more subsidized housing and cars Legislators buy their own cars at market rates. No more body guards. No siiting allowances while you get paid a salary. No expressway funds. No retreating to write reports in hotels but use offices provided. No going to resorts in mombasa or naivasha or anywhere else to write reprots because Mps abuse travel allowances, paying for hotels, and this is paid by tax payers.
