They should have given you some information about the exhibits: 1.) The courthouse is the Court of Oyer and Terminer (which means "to hear and determine") and the Black woman is Mary Black. 2.) The exhibit next to the Court of Oyer and Terminer is about familiars, creatures given to "witches" by the devil himself. 3.) The man in the house with a corpse is Philip English, a very interesting historical figure, and the corpse is that of Sheriff Corwin.

I just began working at the Witch History Museum, which is owned by the same couple as the Witch Dungeon Museum and New England Pirate Museum. According to a person who has worked for the owner for 20 years, the Witch Dungeon Museum is not haunted and the absolutely scariest thing about the building is their gross af bathroom.

The hood ornament is off a ‘57 Chevy. Arrow fabrications was based out of Los Angeles and use to make boats but contracted by Disney for this project. They also made the same cars for Cedar Point. They folded a long time ago.

I have often wondered did Walt Disney ever walk or drive down Hyperion Avenue and feel nostalgic about when he worked there, after he moved the studio to Burbank. Walt Disney was probably always so absorbed or interested in his next project or artistic endeavor that he never spent much time reminiscing about his Hyperion Avenue days (although I am pretty certain that they were exciting times for both him and his animators). By the 1950s, Walt Disney loved Disneyland in Anaheim so much (he even slept in the firestation apartment on Main Street) that he probably didn't really think much about the original studio that he built in Los Angeles. I suppose that you can only go forward in life and not back. It was such a shame that The Walt Disney Company never kept the original animated studio in Los Angeles, and turn it into a museum about how all the short cartoons, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and most of Pinocchio was made there. The original Walt Disney Studio in Hyperion Avenue was such an important part of the history of The Walt Disney Company.

Actually, before Disney's uncle gave him space in his Real Estate office at Kingswell and Vermont, he worked in the garage behind Robert Disney's house. That garage was moved from the property some years ago and sits on a lot in Orange county.

Although I didn't actively see anything while here, just today it was one of the most terrifying visits of my life. So for context (and I'm sorry this is gonna be a little long but I kid you not it was scary and the context explains the direness of the situation well so bare with me) I'm gonna give the details lol. So I'm on a girls trip currently to Salem with my grandmother, my mom, and my aunt. My aunt lives in Texas as well as her relatives and the rest of us are from Utah. Okay anyways some background. I am very sensitive to the paranormal, as I have almost a cheesy 6th sense in a way. I can kinda get a vibe... for example, I especially felt these feelings in the basement of a friend's house, of which she'd perform seances and such. So yes I felt these before. But I have never felt it quite like I did here. I entered this place and immediately I got this familiar sense of dread and fear as I read the things along the walls explaining things that took place there. One of which was one me and my aunt read and it said something along the lines of a torture method used back then that would be of the accused to get them admit that they were witches- they were told to hold their arms out before them, one girl even held it for 4 hours straight for example and it was also ironically the judges fav torture method. So me and my aunt decided it'd be funny to hold our arms out and see how long we could keep em up- I was trying to distract myself. So after a minute of this we sat down and I had to set my arms down 10 mins later cuz ow lol. When I sat down and they started, I honestly felt like I needed to leave because my mom had also pointed out the demon looking statue they had up in the back near the back ceiling lol that thing had a very bad vibe I tell you like it was freaky looking- black cloaked with beady eyes sticking out lol hated it. Anyways yes it had a bad vibe. So yeah we were sitting and it started and my aunts wife's mom also has a 6th sense back in Texas, as she has legit got these feelings to turn around and leave and later she finds out a motorcyclist had died at the destination they were on their way to for example. So my aunt kinda looks down at her smart watch and taps me and the message on the watch reads, I kid you not, "Sarah leave now don't stay" (Sarah is my aunt). This was from the husband of the mom mentioned previously with the 6th sense. It also says "My phone went BLACK... nothing... are y'all okay?" (It was the wife borrowing her husband's phone because hers went black and wouldn't turn on to send the message. It later only turns on when we reach a different location) And immediately that proved something was off, as they didn't know we were there in that museum or anything like we were just there on a whim basically cuz we just got off the tour trolleys to see it before it closed. So yes I immediately started like shaking and was slipped into an anxiety attack like it was bad lol my mother and grandparents (I'm a young adult lol so this isn't a kid crying mind you) kinda wondered but thought I just needed to use the bathroom lol so they didn't follow me and my aunt or anything. So we leave the place, I'm shaking violently and just am in complete sobs like you have no idea the heavy presence and feeling I had there, it didn't feel good at all. So we get another message on our way out saying "my phone went black! I hope you are out of there. It is Evil... are you all OK?" My aunt responded with "Omg that is sooo creepy you just sent that, we were in the Witch Gaol (jail) where the Witch jail was in and we had to leave, we had a dark sense of something evil." "We are ok" then as soon as we were outside the building the response from the mom was "Please leave that area!!!" And so after that me and my aunt left for a wand shop and we replied with "Wow that is crazy" "There is something really wrong here" and we got the immediate response of "Yes! Please leave that area" So we left the place entirely and went to that wand shop down on another road and the mom said immediately once we were somewhere else "My phone works again. Y'all must be safe!" And yeah from there things chilled out and I calmed down and felt better. But yeah my theory why it was only me and my aunt that felt that way (she admitted to me that she felt freaked out in there too) is because me and her did the arm torture thing and kinda joked about that. We were put into the shoes of the women that were tortured and killed there and felt a small bit of their pain. I think either we just were targeted like the Salem girls as that was the favorite torture method, we ticked off the thing there via joking about it a little, or just cuz I am sensitive to that stuff and she happened to be related to the woman that could tell this even from across the entire USA. So yes. I believe in a presence here, maybe not to the average person or to just anyone that visits, but me and my aunt clearly had something happen here and I honestly am not sure what would have happened if I had stayed the entire tour and seen the freaky borderline pitch lack basement with the cells and such. Just no thank you haha. Now we are safe in our hotel room and hoping tonight goes okay... no more spooks please lol. DONT LIFT YOUR ARMS GUYS LOL.

One of the better tours. The witch house, house of 7 gables, witchwalk, ghost tour were some of the best. The witch hysteria began April in 1692 so the weather you experienced probably add to the whole salem experience. If you liked salem you want an even better time you gotta visit the historical sites including gallows hill you gotta visit Danvers (Salem village) original salem. By the way there are many haunted places throughout salem. It's worth the visit again especially if you do your research or know what you want to see. I found summer and early October are the best times to go.

when i went on tour there i was told that the size of the cell you were given depended on how much money you had that's why some of the cells are so small it's hard to imagine how the person would be able to even crouch to sleep.. very difficult.
