If you think about all the problems Sam has had with men after this...drew...john...donte...it can all be traced back to her picking drew over Jason...she loved drew...but she was in love with and loved Jason....and when she choose another guy...everything after has been her justifying that choice....all the issues up and until the end of her story...has essentially been her justifying her choice of drew over jason and the excuses of wanting a safer life for her kids...or wanting to be put first over carly...its all lies...its her making excuses for why she made that choice.
