Who is recommending to oil machine daily? Daily is totally not necessary and overkill. Oil will not wear off after each use.

I checked the tram on my iconic 8 and the x axis is within .002 but the y axis is out by .035. Can I adjust the Y by loosening the 6 screws that hold the spindle in and put a shim in the top?

Tony, Yes you can. If you would like more information on setting spindle tram we have some helpful documentation we could send you. Please email [email protected] and request the tram documents. Hope this was helpful.

Why do you ignore the older Axiom systems? They are still out there.
@AxiomprecisionCNC8 ай бұрын
Dale we do have some content in the pipeline for some of our older Pro and Pro+ machines on the way. If you have the older square pump you will disconnect the spindle return line going to the small 90 degree fitting. Attach your drain tube to the fitting and lead it to your empty container. Activating the spindle will drain the lines. Then reconnect your lines and top off the coolant and let it cycle through the system for a minute. Top off your pump and reinstall the cap. You may want to do that twice to ensure you have cycled out most of the old coolant. If there is some content you would like to see for future videos please be sure to leave a comment.

So you can only adjust the feedrate slower than what was originally programmed? Not faster?
@AxiomprecisionCNC8 ай бұрын
That is correct. You are unable to exceed the max feed rate set in the software. You could alway set the feed rate higher and start with a smaller speed scale. This would allow you to increase or decrease right from the controller.

Thank you for this! I have to check mine, i think i have a box type reservoir.

I don't believe you will. You will set your Z zero at the machine side and use the offset there.
