Have you heard about Capacities? It's free and you might like it for indexing your notes -- although I get the appeal of having a physical index. We prononce "Gide" as "Jeed", btw -- I'm french :)

so nice to see a video from you! i always love your energy :) that platinum chai tea is gorgeous. i fully agree than the original tomoe river paper is so superior to the sanzen paper. i’m sorry to hear you had issues with sailors! i have 3 and love them all, never had a bad experience. but pilot nibs are definitely superior. thank you for sharing!

Thank you!! Ugh I love that chai tea it’s so beautiful 🥹 the sailors are so pretty and I only have two out of my 5 that write well. I have no clue why the nibs were so inconsistent! I want to love them but I can’t 😭😭😭 OG tomoe river forever ♥️

I know what that sound is! It's a dragon! (JK it's an ambulance, otherwise known as the healthcare transport dragon) You;re totally right, OG Tomoe river paper is a much better paper than sanzen. I have some hoarded as well.

Hi! Pilot converters just aren’t the best as they can be finicky during the filling process. But it is still totally useable

This feels perfect because I struggle keeping different journals for different things (I end up forgetting about them), but one big journal filled with everything feels messy and it's hard to find what you want. We are of similar brain waves this year haha. I also use the same pen and ink for a whole year in my 5 year techo, and also just bought the prera with the con 70 😂 (I got mine in the cursive medium though and oh my..nibs are gonna be my next rabbit hole!) Happy new year, wish u guys all the best

There’s a cursive option?!?!?!? The con 70 and con B are the BEST! I can’t believe the 70 didn’t fit 😭 BUT it looks so good in the Kakuno so it’s ok, happy accident 👻 what pen and ink will you be using for your 5 year in 2024?

The cursive nib changed the game for me, I was just a regular fine and extra fine kinda girl before lol. So, I know you just got new pens but…if u can try the cursive one..recommend..lol. So this year I’m using my grail pen, the sailor pro gear slim Hallengrotta with Herbin Lie des Tie. I’m on a personal mission to get all the tea pens! (No more sailor tea pens tho..too pricey) I haven’t seen anyone else commit to a pen and ink for a whole year so this is exciting for me ahaha. Last year was my first year in my 5 year techo I used a Jinhao 80 with Diamine Writer’s blood ❤ Ouuu now u make me want a kakuno for my poor neglected con 70! I don’t have any other pilot pens to put the converter in 😅

Hi!!! I use the a5 hobonichi 5 year techo for my five year notebook. And the blue cover is also hobonichi a5, it’s called “Linton: Vacances”

Are you still happy with the Ivory Pilot Prera fine nib? I just bought one for sketching when using Rohrer and Klinger Sketchinks. I thought ivory would be easier to see than a dark pen out in the world. I also have the Pilot Metropolitan fine and Falcon soft fine for sketching, although the Falcon is not allowed outside.

I love this pen but I wouldn’t suggest removing the rubber washer if you wish to prevent ink burps or leaks while traveling via air flight. The washer is designed to prevent ink flow so if you wish to write longer than a page, simply unscrewing the top is more than sufficient.

Thank you for the suggestion! So far I’ve only removed the washer on my black 823 which was my first and I was unaccustomed to opening up the back and it works perfectly fine, but I don’t take it on airplanes. I’ve kept the washer in my other two pens
