Omg that director was actually our all-state treble director! We all LOVED her and had such an amazing experience with having her as our director, plus she actually directed us in this song before this video came out! Dr. Plisco(the director in this video)was such a great person and an amazing director, and we’ll never forget her!❤

Beautiful! Have you performed The Peaceable Kingdom by Randall Thompson (1936)? Stunning work. The University of Missouri - Rolla Choir performed it at the Presbyterian church in Rolla, MO in 1975.

Absolutely was NOT written to be sung that fast. Great singer but his director was way off here. Best version ever 1951, done in the movie Showboat by William Warfield.
