How the hell they managed to make these games is beyond me (i mean both syphon filter games and resistance retribution which was made with the same engine). I still consider Socom Navy Seals Fireteam Bravo 3 to be a better game, but this is great.

You're being way too harsh. The Steam Controller was a cool idea, and yeah, it had some issues. For example, I wish it had a built-in rechargeable battery instead of using AAs, but it's not a huge deal. Now, about the Steam Deck-sure, $399+ is a lot of money, but it's totally worth it. You can't find another device that's as user-friendly, ergonomic, and powerful, with access to the massive PC gaming library, for anywhere near that price. Plus, you can install other PC storefronts too, but Steam is usually where it's at. It's perfect for people who want to get into PC gaming without dropping too much cash upfront. It's also awesome for folks like me who have been gaming on PC for years and like the idea of playing our desktop games in bed, on the couch, in the car, or even on the toilet. It's a solid device, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone even remotely into gaming.
