Make sure the pump rail that controls the pumps is in the correct (stop) position.

Thanks Stuart, I have one of these in a narrowboat and I am having a real problem with one or more of the pumps sticking in the off position when cold. I have learnt some useful tips.

Turned out that it was a nylon slide bush in the governor that was doing the sticking

I have the same lister petter generator, and mine is beginning to give me some issues after 10 years plus of usage with any problem. It will just cut off on me. Any idea of what could be the problem?
