How much did that cost? Looking to build on of my own.

The side boom found a new life as a push cat!!! Sad but I don't see many scrapers such as these cats any more! I now see big 4 tracked machines with towed scraper bowls usually leveling 300 acres for a new warehouse!

That was cool, I ran alot of twins started out on the 637D series nothing like those 3408 getting down and pulling hard with 3306 engine on the rear! The E series was shorter and rougher riding especially on radials which was my first on radial tires, company I worked for went back to bias ply when they got new replacements, then the power house 657E series was as bad ass! Those 3412 in front and 3408 rear running right at 1,000 hp together first time I seen 42 + yds dirt on scraper and shift gears go uphill slopes as long as it wasn't to steep! Then cat came out with the G series with C series engines, be Hp loss over those v12 and v8 Hemi engines! Those hemi fired Diesel engines where like on steroids!

I worked at Ravensworth when Ronnie Harris planted cotton there for the first time on the Hay plans. Which is I believe the flattest place on earth. It was believed at the time cotton won't grow because it was to cold for cotton but as you can see in the video it works!

It grows well out here mate , yes Ravensworth have been growing it for a while , even before Ronnie owned it . A lot of trials since early 90’s but it really got going proper with Gundaline Station , Ravensworth and a few others mid 2000’s which Ronnie was definitely one of them 👍👍 . Yes flattest place on the planet 🌎 out here - thanks for the comment , Cheers

@@Bigskies31 I remember there was a lot of wildlife out there, you wouldn't think so but man I remember jumping out of the tractor and within minutes getting covered in fly's 😂.lots of Brown snakes, hawks, eagles, rabbits, field mouse,red backs, emus and of cause trying to get home from the pub without hitting a kangaroo lol.

Get off your ass then and make your own movie peanut - this movie was made for the people involved in building this storage , the owner operators of the scrapers , graders and pipe welders all of whom hear diesel grunt all day long ! It’s fairly simple mate - just don’t watch

Cotton is great stuff, farming it is hard work. I lived in California's Central Valley for years, and my only gripe with Cotton is that farming it turns the land into a moonscape. No field edges, no fallow areas, no wildlife, just thousands of acres of dirt and Cotton. I understand, can't contaminate the crop. But it would be nice to have some green...
@BrassLock2 жыл бұрын
Agreed . . . I think its a destructive crop to grow on the driest continent on 🌎 Earth. As you describe it, it's only going to accelerate the coming desertification of the Hay Plains.

HI!!! I love this video! I’m not sure if you’ll get this. But my partner and I would love to work with you guys. Would love to expand our scope of farming experience. The list is long so far but we want to branch out even further into the seeding, grain and cotton industry! If you get this, I’d love to trade emails and talk about future seasons or year round work if possible! Cheers, Jackson and Christin.

Muito interessante que de ainda usa irrigação por inundação, é muito econômico e menor esperdicio da água

Plants free of water deficit events more efficiently absorb available plant nutrients enabling plants to achieve their maximum genetic potential. SWRT membranes installed below plant rootsystems retain water where it falls, providing continuous delivery of drought-free periods up to 3 times longer than intensely irrigated control sands without root zone water retention membranes (Guber et al, 2016).
