I bought a Epiphone by Gibson -model SQ-180 SN 8712230. About 42 years ago and and it says it's made in Korea. I bought it from my old man a personal owner and I'm the second owner. I've been trying to figure out what year it was made and what it can be worth thank you John

FF 7 years. I saw and met him a couple months ago at the Underdog in Nashville. AMAZING player and even nicer guy. Spent some of his time talking to myself and others while on a break. My favorite player for sure.

-I f You optimized the tonal equalizations on each amp (possibly a flat frequency response) I think the results would be even more impressive . You made me think of an A.M. car radio with no time control. Good luck with things.

Fillmore 50 is an amazing amp but it sounded pretty bad in this video. The 25 actually sounded pretty good. Not sure if the video creator did this, but many who create demos and comparisons will set all knobs at noon to compare them. This is a bad way to do it. Knobs should be set to show the best clean tone and best dirty tone for each amp, whatever those eq settings are. Otherwise some great amps can give the impression that they sound awful. Just my opinion.

Sorry it's a Firebird V... or III who cares, they fiddle around with the III and V, I have a 2 PU CS 1999 CS with the long vibrato and trapezoid inlays and they also call it the V

Sound quality is terrible. Trapped is just on fire. Sorry but I am not listening to mic clipping. For 1hour and 38 mins. Who ever recorded this needs to learn about mic input gain levels. Terrible quality.

Recently bought the LTD. I knew what to expect with the active pickups and have never been a fan of the sound of EMGs, but I love the look of the guitar. I'm replacing them with a hotrodded JB&Jazz set which are my favorite pickups. Sacrilegious? Probably hahaha

I just love this! I am a drummer who wishes he was playing with guitar players like Guthrie, that you for this fantastic music. At least I can play along with you at home. Thank you !!!!! so much.

Very interesting guitar. How is that master volume wired? Does it suck tone and cut top end like some Gretschs? Or it has a treble bleed on the master volume?

Can you tell me how the neck is on this compared to the current SlimTaper? Same? I'm looking for a super slim neck on a Les Paul. Thank you.
@andygogocomics6 ай бұрын
It’s a typical 60’s neck, not slim taper by any means like say an Epiphone LP custom or SG. Awesome neck just not super duper thin. Not a freaking baseball bat like the 50’s though. It’s really stunning in person, classic yet different.

If you go a minor 3rd lower from A you get F # which is the major 7th of G major 7 F# would be phrygian, G would be lydian and A would be mixolydian.just like he said
