Ghengis Khan. The most prolific rapist in human history. Also the most horrific genocidal murderer ever. I wonder if, hundred of years from now, people with refer to Adolf Hitler will the same deference people give to the disgusting human, Ghengis Khan. Imagine, a giant metal Hitler statue which people pay to climb.

I got my obsession of Genghis Kahn after reading Conn Igguldens books If you have not read them I really would recommend them In his books Genghis is referred as Temujin his real name It’s a three part book series from early life to his death He depicts his death of a hunting accident

As an Iraq veteran it would have to be a mixture of feeling to go back and hear and see all this. My father served on this base and had a lot of hatred for many years and maybe to this day about the war and the VC. It would be great if I could take him if he wanted to go but I think he’s getting to old and in bad shape now with his lungs and Asian Orange. He has had bad feeling for the US government to this day for some reason? I don’t trust our government either so I can’t say much but I’ll never go back to Iraq lol. Never.

Tbh this religion feels like christianity. Basically what Christ did and preached but only before his birth. IMO I think this religion was birthed by god to save the people before the messiah came the first time so the persian people didnt follow paganism. It’s Christianinty 1.0 and then the messiah came and Jesus establish Christianity 2.0. I may be wrong but I don’t believe in confidences and the similarities are obvious

Thanks for posting and filming this educational video. I’m first generation American/Iranian and was only 9 years old during 1981 when I visited Tehran for six months and saw my relatives for the first time and somehow I didn’t get any lessons on Zoroastrian and if I had I certainly didn’t remember any so as I discovered it In recent years on my own research of my background I have to say your video is one of the best because there is not enough information about the topic. Can anyone verify that Zoroastrians can only derive from previous Zoroastrians meaning that you cannot convert and therefore the future of it basically gets smaller and smaller? Is there a chance that they might change the rule to convert? Thanks ☺️P.S. My family has Muslim background but my family took us to Christian church ⛪️ in the suburbs of Los Angeles so this is why I am curious about it.

People who are saying Persians were forced to accept islam are total ignorants and bunch of illiterate dorks. It's a common misconception from the most racist race on planet which did more harm to the world than good. During the the time of Islamic expansion and well after centuries as well the population of Muslims remained very less in numbers as low as 1%. The reason why people started accepting islam varied from person to person at that time. Some did it to gain power, some did it because before Islamic expansion Persian empire imposed heavy taxes but under islam it was close to nothing. Most of them did it because they found better religion than Zoroastrianism, paganism or Christianity that's why there are upto 99% Muslims in Iran. So keep on crying islam will continue to be the fastest growing religion on planet..
