inherited a 1991 Jag V12 last of the line. had to let it go for £1000. rust bucket and bodywork not good either. such a shame. gorgeous interior. like losing a relative (again) when i sold it.

Great bit of kit, about 3 years ago my Vantage suffered horrendous condensation, I searched for a solution and found a lot of information on Pistonheads, the AM Upgrades venting kit seemed to constantly come up with excellent reviews so I bought one, it was/is the best upgrade I have ever done, nice clear, brighter headlights, perfect. Thanks for the video Aston Keeper.

My Aston constantly had condensation, looked awful plus it failed the MOT 3 years ago due to heavy fogged lights on the day. I bought and fitted (Very easy) the AM Upgrade venting kit, clear ever since, best upgrade I ever bought. PS - brill video Aston Keepers.

How much was it?
@Aston_Keeper11 ай бұрын
It was about 2k, which was good for a 4.2 with 20" wheels. I changed the wheels, rear shock bush, Evap sensor, top hose, sump gasket, full service and then sold it for about 2150 😂

Hi, started this job yesterday everything out and stripped down (soldering iron works well) fitting new hoses today, thinking on using clamps (jubillee clips) ?? Did you? and is there a method for cleaning the ports? Any suggestions, advice would be much appreciated. Many Thanks Terry
@Aston_Keeper Жыл бұрын
The trouble is jubilees can get loose, do you have the collets that came with the kit? Otherwise I'd use crimps over jubilee clips. Which ports do you want to clean?
@tpsroofing Жыл бұрын
@@Aston_Keeper Thanks for your reply, crimps good idea if I can't reuse the old collets. What I mean by ports ( may be wrong terminology) hole where I removed injectors, not that dirty but a little grime around edge.

Cold start ... I could smell that through my screen. The auto-choke is always rather generous when cold. I adore my Series III 92 DD6. The best thing about the car is how you feel driving it. Close the door with that satisfying clunk, drink in the "Jaguar smell", sink into what can only be described as an armchair and enjoy the silence, safe in the knowledge that you have effortless power on-tap when you need it. I wanted one of these since I was a child and I'm privileged to own one
