Consignment auction? Internet sale? Small crowd
@antiquepickingadventures16 күн бұрын
It was a huge all day auction with 2 or possibly 3 rings. They have a large field for customer parking which was pretty much full early in the day. There was live and online bidding. I videoed the auction action for 7 hours straight. The auction was still going when I left. Would have liked to have stayed longer but my data card was full and it was starting to rain.

I do love those 1950s Molines. There were a fair number of them still doing farm work when I was a kid. They usually sold cheap at auctions since most were 'rough but running', didn't look like these.

Excellent video. I was always a Massey Ferguson guy but they were a bit one dimensional They were a tremendous power take off tractor. Nothing else was even a close second but when it came to heavy tillage they were a bit on the light side. But when Massey brought out the 1100 that seemed to begin to change But, that 1100 GAS in this auction I wouldn't even think about how much gas that thing would use in a day. Plenty of Ferguson foot cookers (30's and 35's) with their underslung mufflers. Thanks for taking us along

Wow.. a lot of stuff went quite reasonable. Those Volvo and Mack trucks were a steal. The gravity boxes and augers were cheap. This stuff was all in excellent condition. The tillage stuff was cheap. The spraying flatbeds. Over $200K is a lot of money in any farmers world, but the combine and sprayer were at least $75K to $85K less than they should have been. The green tractors were all at least $50k to $75K less than they should have been. The Cat excavator had some age but was very low hours. That brought what it should have.
