Ricky Nelson’s right hand man so to speak from 1956-1962 especially on Imperial Records. One of the greatest lead breaks was on Hello Mary 😊

Very cool, Ronnie Tutt, Glen Dee Hardin the original pianist, and the great James Burton on guitar, who was stolen from the great Ricky Nelson lol.

Ronnie was also the star with Elvis' Band. Ronnie lit up the whole show with Elvis. His pure excellence of playing drove that band to the moon. Rest In Peace Ronnie and Elvis. You are both rockin the hell out of Heaven

It's amazing how just certain things are meant to be and Tutt was definitely exactly what Elvis needed at the right time and place, I don't think anyone else would've done the job he did😮

That doesn't sound like Tutt ! Can barely hear him. If is him then he must not be in Elvis form ! And if he was sick or something along that line then I apologize. Never seen Tutt play nothing but Ludwig?
@mochs3869
@mochs3869 Жыл бұрын
He's played many different brands over his career. With Elvis alone, he played Premier, Sonor and Ludwig. Seen him behind a set of Yamaha's for a Neil Diamon TV special in 1988, and he's played Rogers, but not sure if out live ever. But he was a DW endorser way longer than he was a Ludwig one.
