I bought an ‘80 Omega in 1987 as a school commuter car. Had it for five years, it was a great car. Had a V6 so it was very peppy.

I am guessing you are cold being your camera is shaky. I know these cars were part of GM x wing cars plus had issues with shaky engines and transmission issues like the Citation in 80. It is a shame Oldsmobile is now defunct as time went on they did make better cars

Common issues with these cars is power steering. Usually a small leak to where the pump groans, & steering gets heavier. I've usually just topped it off & it goes back to normal. Also carburetors are harder to find on v6 models compared to the iron Duke 4 cylinder models, but rebuild kits are plenty

Common issue is with power steering, such as being ultra stiff or the pump groaning. Mine here has a slow leak where I have to refill periodically. Otherwise the v6 engine is solid with regular maintenance.

It doesn't really make any sense. The main character was the top player from Olympic city. Why he did travel to Bayview instead of staying in Olympic city where he had all the fame?

mostly i guess because it was 100% unnessesary in the GM line (despite building decent cars) with zero features setting it apart from buick. then GM finally ponied up the cash to close the shop.

My aunt had a 1980 Omega Brougham! Tan outside, blue inside. I drove it a good bit. It was a nice car!

I ordered brand new in 1980. Oldsmobile Omega two door Tan in color with Brown interior. PS. PB PW AM&FM Radio. Rear Defogger. That was a opinion in 1980. Today 2021 standard. It cost me just under Ten Thousand dollars USD plus tax and car dealership fees. I financed it with GMAC 36 months loan. I kept the car till 1988 and bought a Oldsmobile cutlass supreme. It was my final Oldsmobile until 1992, I bought a new delta 88. Thank you

Car in great condition to have 40 years. The bumpers fillers that usually flake off seems solid. In 90s in Italy I have had an Olds omega coupe brougham two tone colours (gold and brown) with vinil top of 1981 with AFI plate (I was an Italian Nato soldier), bought from an American officers, and the few mechanic problems were the latches of the front seats, the headlights closed without possibility to change the lamp (so I installed two light of Fiat 131 - called in USA Fiat brava), the bumper fillers (rebuilt by blacksmith a in steel inox). Apart the oil change, never a mechanic problem of the v6 engine.

I got the 2012 model with the 3.7L. Only other mechanical differences is that it has another 35 hp & a 6 speed auto from factory.

Also from factory this car has a cai, vtec on the intake, + a transmission cooler over the 3G TL. I haven't modified this car yet either

Caleb's Hummer was hidden by darkness. In the game, the darkness isn't that severe, but in real life, if a car has its headlights turned off at night and there's no light source pointing at the car, it's basically invisible. He then turned on his headlights at the very last moment taking advantage of the protagonist's bad tendency to go full throttle all the time (even when not racing), so the player scared and had to barely react in time to avoid crashing into him. Remember, it was in a moment when the player is supposed to be turning into another street. But the protagonist did not have time to avoid the wall. Basically, yes, he blinded us, and forced us to crash into a wall at full speed.
