Un poema musical del countryl. La escuché por primera vez no hace mucho en el film Hell or Heigh Water y ahora la escucho siempre en la carretera

Telecaster, bottle neck slide, sings like a...drunk Chrissie Hynde. RWH is one of the greatest song writers that I've ever had the beautiful pleasure of listening to. Every song tells a story and each one just a little bit cooler than the last!

I'm amazed (not in a good way) that Austin City Limits never even tried to invite Ray to perform, given how much he seems to have added to Texas music on his own & with Jerry Jeff Walker.

Love RWH! This man should so much more famous. One of the greatest songwriters Texas has ever produced. And that’s saying ALOT! Plus I have met him a few times at South Austin Music. He’s funny as hell and extremely friendly.

The original location opened in 1971 and moved to the Lemmon Ave location in 1974. I saw quite a few progressive county artists at the original location. I remember seeing you there one night. It was Texas' version of California's Troubadour. Hippy country outlaw rockers hang out with hot babes everywhere

Hey Ray I love this song! I lived in Austin for a year back in 2001. I was on my bike riding by Shady Grove outside venue. I saw you doing a soundcheck outside so I came through the gate. Someone had built you a guitar and you were trying it out. We started talking just like we've known each other a long time. You said hey what are you doing tonight...I said nothing you said wanna work for me at the door? I said yes and did that & got to eat with you and another band mate. I'll never forget it thank you!!

I don't think Texans go to hell, i thin we just keep gettin sent back to Texas. Even those from other nations that have died through the centuries. I believe the Great Creator had 2 classifications of Humans. Those who would believe they evolved from Monkeys and Texans, and they have existed since before The Great Country of Texas was founded.
