LIke everything else on here I bought it at some point, with the exception of the stuff I personally made (4 things exactly) or was given by people to post here.

You upload rare obscure tapes to youtube for archiving and letting it get known so people can hear what it sounds like?
@ericgelber6 күн бұрын
That is probably one of the the main reasons I've posted over five hundred things, yeah.

I always enjoy finding a new KZbin channel worth following and I'm following you now. I post stuff because I like it, I have it, and it has been listened to by very few people. I see this channel mostly as an archive of the rare and beautiful. Sound is part of the essence of everything, like image, odor, and sensation.
@NOISEONOMICON24 күн бұрын
@@ericgelber Yes! I´m using my channel for archive of stuff not seen on the internet, physical media related to noise, punk, any music or weird stuff I enjoy, and I also enjoy finding similar channels dedicated to archive sounds from many places and eras. Thanks for following back!

@@NOISEONOMICON I have so many obscure literally rare noise recordings that will go in the cosmic dumpster when I croak so why not put them out there. I’ve made noise music for thirty plus years so I count myself among the faithful. Noise is the only truly punk thing there is. I just got a comment from someone telling me how musically illiterate I am and that I make noise because I can’t make music. It’s hilarious that people are still carrying this archaic aestheticism cross around still, which, when looked at closely, is just stupid.
@NOISEONOMICON24 күн бұрын
@@ericgelber even in this information era, noise is still misunderstood, disrespected and marginalized, I´m into this for 30 years and made other music projetcs as well as noise, it´s about loving it, living it, doing it and dont giving a fuck about the rest of "music lovers" or "pro" musicians. Yeah I do this because so many things could get lost and deserve be out there.

@@NOISEONOMICON People completely misunderstand the creative process and they value technique over imagination. TikTok and KZbin videos have increased the perverse obsession with technique. Give me inspired imagination over impotent creatively bankrupt technique any day.
