In this case dad knows nothing about body work or cars 😂 Knows a lot about other stuff tho. Also as it was my helpers truck I let him hook it up. (I honestly had a feeling it would look bad at first) just did not relize he would hit the gas quite so hard 😂 We did end up getting it strait and today you can’t hardly tell it was ever crashed

@@Chaos_control_1 it's an effective repair and a decent execution in the end if it looks good when I seen it after I was just thinking push back into the stump and push it back😂 especially with an aftermarket bumper they don't care as much when you bang them around just add a little paint😂

Don’t say that. The ford v6s I have seen last into 300k This one is a 5speed on the floor and very very well taken care of. Has a little lifter tic but it’s very quiet compared to most

Was a little more then a little rain. We had a tornado not very far away and damaging hail.. I think most of us would have rather had snow 😂

Thanks it’s a 1 owner. Parents bought it brand new in 91 from a local dealer. It’s got a full ex interior and wiring harness. Was swapped around from a lx. Has a d16z6 in it right now with the plans to put ac and power steering back into it to build a nice daily

@@Chaos_control_1 got mine from the original owners as well !!! It’s a super clean ex burgundy with the burgundy interior also ! Thats what caught my eye when I saw yours 🔥🔥 mine still has power steering , R12 Ac is still kicking and with cruise control , never getting rid of this thing 😂

That's so nice honestly! Treating those cars as if they were your own. I do most of my work on my vehicles but took my car to a body shop and in that time there had been a dust storm. The shop had a giant warehouse size shop that id seen the inside of...no cars were pulled in...much paint was ruined that day. Guess they wanted to get paid to redo it.

Sadly often times it’s a room probem. For us we fit in what we can and do our best to be proactive on bad days. I have a coupe vids up about the sedan and plan to have more to come

I’m 58 years old and these dealerships are still playing the same game I worked at a Ford dealership in the mid 80s when a new car would come in with some kind of problem some kind of faulty sensor or something we would go out into the lot grab a new car bring it into the garage take the part off of the new car put it on the car under warranty and put that old part onto the new car and then put that brand new car back on the lot Believe it

Was not a fun process for sure. But wanted to make sure all the body pannels line up when we start the bondo/primer process on the doors. Seen way too many cars where the doors don’t line up because they worked them off the car

Worked for the dealers for 6 years. Done my time and fair share of warranty work. Trust me as a independent shop owner warranty we some times get paid nothing on, Just did a Subaru trans twice because the first one (brand new from Subaru) blew up on the test drive. Was not fun but it’s part of the business and life at times.

It’s a pretty dang clean car man 😂 it was washed before we brought it inside… also we stopped once we pulled the axles. Those were dirty as heck😂 but we were busy and it did not get recordered. But thanks for your 2 cents! A view is a view 😂😂😂
