I use dish soap and i screw the studs as tight as possible with an allen key, been using my rifle for almost a decade for hunting and the studs still look like they where put yesterday.

Only problem, for some reason you damage or scrape that stud, you could never get it out to replace with out lots of damage. If you must use lightly some wood glue on the threads only or better yet, some tru-oil. Also should never have to replace a stock because of a striped hole. Just use a good wood filler let dry thoroughly and retap it.

Yamaha is great indeed, hold up way better than can-am and polaris. I had my cfmoto for soon 6 years now and it is just amazing, and love that it is really cheap compared to bigger brands. Also cfmoto is most sold brand in Sweden many years in row now.

I've got a Grizzly XTR ordered and wondered how these tires will perform as an all-around ATV tire. I'm not into mud riding but I will be going through some mud on our property. I live in the Southeastern US, so I'm mostly on trails in hardwood forests and open fields. In the summer some of these trails are packed down so hard it's like they're paved. I also wondered how puncture resistant these are, I haven't found any information that answers that. I ride on fields that I have cut with a tractor and a bush hog, so there's a lot of things left that can punture a tire. I have Kenda Bear Claws on my Rancher, and after one year of use they have proven to be good at resisting punctures.

Why do the gaps increase from 5 inches to 10 inches the larger you get? Then from 12 - 13 it jumps a full 20 inches per size?? Something isnt adding up... 🤔🤔

Was accosted by an angry thieving Black Bear escaping an ass kicking by a camp wrangler with a ball bat. Occurred when I was a boy of 11 years, date in 1960. I got off with minor injuries. Used a barrier method akin to this for some 49 plus years afterword and a 20 inch barreled 12 gauge firing 550 grain hardened round solids at about 1500fps. Some form of physical and/or electronic warning barrier is more work to the camper, but gives you a much better nights sleep and an advanced warning to take action.

I put 27x10 8-ply Tusk Megabites on mine and I ride in Utah so we have mud sand and rock surfaces. Hated the bias ply zilas, they don't work out here anyways unless there is snow on the ground.

I just bought the TA 1200 HD and noticed you can’t make tight turns. The wheels lock up and so maneuvering in tight spots will tear up the lawn or wear down the tires when driving on pavement with a 4 tire configuration.

It has a long tail and I’d say bobcat kittens would be much smaller and brighter colored than those bad boys. Unlikely to be a leopard too. Must be mountain lion, not uncommon for kittens to look significantly different.

Danner is garbage. Keen is even worse. I’ve worn danners out in less miles than it takes to break in kenetrek mountain extremes. Most people have no idea what they’re getting into when they buy kenetreks and buy them because they’re expensive. Most people won’t ever break in kenetreks.

Very nice. Some people complain about these tires if they are not ridden on snow. I still think they are pretty good tires overall. I won’t replace the same exact tires I have on my 2023 Grizzly 700 XTR until I have to. Then I’ll see what’s on the market. Either way, the Yamaha Grizzly is overall the premier ATV, at least in terms of reliability.👍

It's one thing to be secure inside your electric fence but if you are hiking and you don't have a gun with the correct ammunition and bear spray you are again asking for serious trouble as bears are very good stealthy Hunters and there's no way getting away from them as their endurance is very good and they travel up to 35 mph and on your best day if you are not trained you are only going to be able to run around 18 mph but the bear is so lightning quick that you will not have a chance to get away
@keepithd2010
@keepithd2010 2 ай бұрын
And so I think I mentioned in your last video anyone that goes camping in areas with bear or even wolves mountain lions or any kind of threat that could kill you if you do not purchase a inexpensive portable electric fence have mace and maybe even a gun you are just asking for trouble. I have seen too many deaths on the channel scary bears attack that you have to be nuts not to be protected. With the electric fences and the electric mats you basically can do everything you want inside that area and you don't have to worry about any predators coming into your area but I still obeyed by the guidelines and keep my food 100 yd away from my account and 14 ft of and at least 3 to 4 ft out from the tree. One of the real good things about having the electric fence and the electric Matt is that you can put out solar panel and you don't have to worry about them being destroyed.

Only about 1 percent of animal attacks in Canada are made public. Lots of people are attacked by bears in western Canada and up north, but the government won't let the media tell the truth about it... they don't want people to enjoy the outdoors or have guns.

There are plenty of videos that show these two D cell battery set ups don't work well and bears will go through it to get to you. Bear fence tests done at the University of Montana and several tests were done in BC with these fences provided data that show that .75 joules is needed to convince a bear to not cross the electric fence. Four D cell batteries will get you close to .6 joules which is still not enough. Plan on carrying a larger battery that will put out at least .75 joules and you most likely will have no problems. There are videos here on youtube that show people using the 2 D cell battery units and the bears crashed right through the fences. Of course there's no way to get a guarantee that a bear won't attack you and go through your fence regardless of how many joules the fence might be energized to as grounding and proper placement and set up of the bear fence is required as well. I've been back packing with an electric fence for 20 years and I run .75 joules on my fence.

Not many boots with a seamless tounge. My Altberg Kisdon have a seamless tounge right to the top. Just ordered some new boots as after one year my Vibram sole has worn down the tread and has no grip. They're still waterproof though and I might get them re-soled. They have a Sympatex waterproof lining which has been faultless and walking through streams they've never leaked. New boots have gore-tex though. Just wanted to try something with a different Vibram sole. Waiting on delivery of a pair of Hanwag Ancash ii gtx. I went for those as the straight fit extra last sounds like it should fit me nice. Plus they're nice looking too with a full rand and fairly tall. Was quite difficult finding something I liked and fitted my criteria.

I installed mine with loctite maxx construction adhesive. We will see how it holds up. Should be rock solid for the next 20-30 years. But this appoxy ahould last longer than the stock. These methods should be able to repair one that has stripped out as well.
