I've been researching this plant for a bit, and I see there are numerous kinds. The most common (vulgaris) is listed as poisonous for both people and animals (!), even if I can see a farmer feeding his rabbits with it (Hidden Spring Farm channel). Also, his plants look different than yours. So, now I'm confused. Can you elaborate a bit?

Hi Doina! I would suggest getting to know the species that are native to your area, or the ones that were traditionally used by your ancestors. As mentioned in my video, this is Artemisia douglasiana. We also use it in restoration projects and for erosion control.
