oui et fonctionne toujours par contre pour le deck cassette Akai gx r99 le remplacement des courroies a été assez long et pas très aisé mais le défi en valait la peine.

if i remember when i bought this hifi component in 1983 the price was for all 1500 euro not like a car almost 4250 euro

Akai Stereo hifi components of the 1980's which has very advanced features and nice looks. I missed them, but wish I had the same models. Its sad that such a big electronics company like Akai closed down in Japan.

Do you ever have to reset the receiver? Mine needs to be reset once a week. Don't know why.

Yes of course the memory only stay one week because they used a capacitor to keep the memory in place of a battery en the charge is shorter and you have to reset the system. You can also replace the capacitor the value is 0, 047 farad 5.5 volt. But the problem the charge will stay short.

Yes de memory stay only seven days if you don't use it during one week the memory is lost and you have to reset the system this the same with akai aa a35 or ea a7 they use a capacitor to keep the memory in place of a battery and this is shorter

That's the problem with the Tuners or Receivers of the 1980's if you don't use them frequently. The memory goes out in a shorter period. But the later models which came after the 1990's didn't have this problem. Their memory last much longer.

@@hvbel6993 Yes, that's the problem with the earlier model Quarts PLL Tuners. As the video owner also mentioned above herein, it's with the capacitor which gets weak with time and looses its gain. Please try to use it regularly but never leave it with power on unattended. Otherwise deliver it to a very good technician for restoration.
