Good for the dentists such as mine: getting her certificate in 2020, being too confident/narcism to do a difficult root canal instead of being humble enough to refer the unlucky human being to a specialist. Then forgetting to do the following important step, the crown or more possibly leave the patient with a secret, failed root canal to go home, a few weeks later comes back with a hopefully broken that same tooth, as it happens almost %110. Then the tooth is ready to be extracted! Perfecting another skill via NHS patients. Specially the ones alone with no family to make a noise, the vulnerable and the voice-less. So easy for young dentists to use human being as their very own lab mouse to practise their skills on them, then get rid of their teeth with no guilt-feels, as if the patient has a 1000 teeth to be happy with an apology after the loss of some.If god really would answer that patient 's prayers the dentist would earn a permanent hand shake to get retired for good. NHS should let people see the dentists success rates and this type of obvious neglects. So people would not fall into same catastrophe. Loosing teeth is loosing joy of life, they might as well k ill the unlucky one. A lab mouse is luckier dying sooner! NHS should watch their dentists performance some time for the cry of all gods. Their practices are as busy as a butcher shop 😢 mine spent 30 mins on that difficult root canal. Why did I let her touch my painful beloved tooth 😢

For the most part people don’t need veneers. It’s eliminating natural tooth structure and will cause sensitivity. In the rare case where this is clinically acceptable than fine but It’s unethical to try to push these procedures on people.

I had both sedation and throat numbing spray during an endoscopy and i still gagged on it repeatedly and pulled the fucker out. Dr's are scum that don't understand consent. You can't really withdraw your consent during because you can't fucking talk and you're partially paralyzed, so your hands are the only way you can really communicate. Dr's of course dont give a shit about this though in the UK so they power through despite you clearly wanting it to end. Long story short fuck doctors fuck you

If I use optibond solo plus as a lubricant to shape the last layer of composite AND cure lubricant jelly over it, does that prevent any decrease in microhardness that would occur otherwise???
@nean81603 ай бұрын
Hi doc please let me know the name of bond you use as my patients always cry post composite pain and sensitivity

How was the lingual aspect?? Aren’t we supposed to start cavity preparation from lingual side??
@user-cp7gh8zj6b4 ай бұрын
The caries is so extensive and the buccal enamel is thin it would not have been preservable. If the lesion was lingually placed then its worth accessing from that side.

Hello colleague, I often use chamfer burs, which allow me to preserve more tissue. I also read in an article that it is actually important not to polish the stump, as you get extra retention from the microstructure left behind by the roughness of your bur (up to 100 microns).

I was having a cracked tooth done today. The dentist put in two long injections. During drilling, the nerve caused awful pain. I now have a temporary filling and have to wait 4wks to see if they can try again or tooth will need to be extracted.

Thank you for this. I am that patient that has a strong gag reflex. I have major issues just trying to get one tooth e x-rayed. I may be looking into dentures but my dentist is concerned that I will not be able to wear them for the above reasons. I am trying to find ways to de sensitize my gag nerve. 4 am and I came across your video.

Most dental phobias are the result of traumatic dental treatments in childhood. In the 50's and 60's dentists didn't use novocaine before filling teeth. The pain was excruciating.
