I'm in amazement how you have your own bike roads! This road infrastructure puts N America to shame. When I bought my first bike 650 it had a almost new road 6 on the front, so I replaced the 16 year old rear Dunlop with a Road 6. they handle very well, In all conditions they still inspire confidence even after almost 10000 KM. they perform good in mild wet condition. Mild wet is good enough for me up here, if it rain like this I would probably be on the side of the road with the others haha or stay home! I might have to get another set of road 6. Very impressive!

What's your stature? If you're 6 ft and above then this bike would def be considered as small. Unfortunately I can't convince you on that. But I can advise you to go out and try to sit on the bikes you're considering to get. Get the feel of the seating triangle, find out if the bike suits the majority of your use case and etc. Better if you can get a test ride.

I find the front brake to be quite spongy. Almost inadequate at times. Swapped the pads with better material and saw some improvement. My mechanic suggests me to upgrade to a 17mm radial master pump + steel braided hose to remediate the issue but i feel like the ROI is insignificant since it's just a 250cc that can only top 150kmh. Rear brake is fine though.

I bought mine without loan, 2nd hand at 16K with Akrapovic installed back in 2021. You can get stock 2nd hand now around 10K - 15K. Regular maintenance every 5K KM - 1.5L engine oil (I use Motul 7100 10W40) + oil filter, so for me, can still be considered cheap.

Thanks bro! Unfortunately I can't tell you the difference since I got the bike pre-loved with the slip-on already installed. But one thing for sure, I would not put back the stock exhaust, ever.

I'm using one too. My setup for hill usage (I live in Cameron Highlands); torque spring 1.2k rpm, contra spring (3 small spring at brake shoe) 1000rom, tobaki roller (10gx6). Better response during corner. Top speed can get around 115km/h. Rider weight 87kg. Original state very laggy but now I'm happy. DIY the windshield lifting it up to 1 inch.

This is quite an interesting setup for roads with varying elevations. If you're 87kg using 10g, then I might try 7g with the mentioned contra spring. Trying to achieve better pickup filtering through rush hour. Thanks for the info!

Agree with what you pointed out. It's stable enough to cruise with highway speed and acceleration is also adequate to filter around in the city.

Thanks! Those are bar end mirrors from RCB. Kinda pricey but the build quality is spot on. Yes, it does make the handlebar vibrate more when you take out those hefty stock balancers but I kinda grew into it. Link of the mirrors in Shopee: tinyurl.com/y5ct6w84

Me already 1 year mileage now 17000+km usually i use this bike for work 2 days Monday and Friday because that days traffic unusually packed than other days. 140km go and back. I already upgraded the CVT systems and it can reach 135kmh on GPS it's 126kmh. So far the performance is good not dropping keep it well maintained cleaned CVT every 5k KM, i use motul 10w40 and also motul 80w90 gear oil so far no issues, heard many of complaints on Facebook group which so far i never experience.
