Lots of complaints about it being monetized and how it should be a mod and such. Im a modder for a few games and have never charged money; however the mod scene has changed dramatically since covid. for example the arma 3 modding community literally file cease and decist with other newer modders if their mod is anything similar. Its so incredibly toxic; Because indie gaming was always about working on a game that is either a passion project or to build your skills to get hired. This game does both, and honestly if they want to make it their own and charge money for it they are less likely to deal with the toxic modding communities and atleast make some money. Its okay if you find it mean or bad or whatever, but if its still around, then the devs dont care because steam wouldve removed it. If it doesnt literally ruin your life, stop complaining about it like it's making the world a worse place.
