Just some fun SKZ sports facts 😊 Hyunjin, Chan, and Felix have all won awards for swimming. Hyunjin was apparently basically professional level. Hyunjin also played soccer. That's why he was one of the only good ones at foot volleyball 😂 Seungmin played baseball. And three members have a martial arts background. Lee Know has three 2nd degree black belts in different styles of martial arts. Felix has a 3rd degree black belt in Taekwondo. Changbin also has a black belt in Taekwondo, but I'm not sure what degree.

It was definitely in real speed. They made some mistakes, which rhey wouldn't done if in was real speed. Also I don't think they practiced beforehand. Someone from them said "what is this?", and I doubt that they would said that if it was planned.

The performance of “Grow Up” from Kingdom Week is one I think is worth watching.

The company didn't tell them to do the street videos. They just wanted to give Stay more content. So the signed out the hand held cameras for "vlogs" and wandered around playing the song on their phones & having fun. There are a few vlogs that do have them in the same outfits, so they did do that. Each of the street videos are filmed in different places. This one was in Japan. They filmed these while on personal time while on album tours.

you should definitely do some of 3racha music though just like that every Mixtapes 1-5 are made from 3racha and make it as a whole.

Watching Hyunjin cry breaks my heart. There is another video where everyone is crying and then Hyunjin has like a mental/emotional breakdown and i died. Just thinking about it makes me tear up.

The Mirror performance video is basically a music video. The random speed version is them doing the dance practice but someone keeps changing the tempo as they dance- so utter chaos and hilarious! I havent seen the part switch, but i saw the part switch of Back Door and that was funny.

Grow up holds so much meaning for any stage in your life. It's very applicable to younger people, but no less meaningful for older people as well.

Oh. Most of the older songs were written mostly by 3Racha, but the members all contributed lyrics to fill it out & make it their full group songs. All of the Mixtapes from 1-5 are redone 3Racha songs that were modified.

Most of the first Mixtapes got redone into full songs. And most of them have their own video as well. Either a performance video or a street video. Mixtape 1: Placebo Mixtape 2: Behind the Light Mixtape 3: For You Mixtape 4: Broken Compass Mixtape 5: Hoodie Season (Might not be on a full album as a mixtape, but it did get a proper song.)

And you missed the video for Grow Up. It's so adorable. And there were a few misses on who was singing some of the parts.

With rock, it is a statement of self. Your center is your rock to build all future iterations of yourself. In Rock, they are telling people who want them to change their core self that they would rather be their rock than what the people want them to be.

SKZ 2020, and SKZ 2021 are repackages with the 8 members instead of 9. They had to re-record the songs without Woojin, and had to remove lyrics he had written for the songs. So some are shorter than the originals, because they took those lyrics out. (Woojin has ownership of the parts he contributed to the songs.) So in order for SKZ to continue singing their older songs after he left, they had to redo all them.

Oh....And because you just watched the lyric videos for the songs, you missed the fun Street video for Rock. Sadly it doesn't have lyrics on it, so you would have had to watch a lyric video anyways, but the video is fun. For future albums, I would suggest looking at the official album list on JYPE, then finding lyric videos for those that don't have videos/lyrics on the videos. And doing the Album Trailers. Those are always good when they have them.

You were right about those parts in Awaken not sounding like themselves; the part you were questioning about Seungmin was IN and the part right before him im pretty sure was Chan not Lee Know

And the lyric video you watched for Mirror is kinda off with the translations. They differ from the lyrics that are on the performance video, and those are the official lyric translations. They are close, but miss a few meanings. They kept miss translating Miro as mirror. Miro means maze, not mirror.

Ok. I'm going to comment on the SKZ Story Line stuff. (Gonna have to reply to myself to keep it all straight) The I Am Not trailer is very interesting. Not only is it calling out the K-Pop industry for it's hypocrisy of saying every group is different & then punishing the groups who actually are, but it's doing the same to society as a whole. How can we tell people to be unique & themselves, then turn around and force them to conform to rigid social structures. You saw Woojin at the tablet typing all the things he is supposed to be, what is expected of him by teachers, parents, governments. When he stops typing, the other people disappear, leading his to start questions. And he left the last one blank. You see Felix on the roof practicing dancing in front of mirrors. But mirrors often distort reality a bit. things are flipped, and sometimes slightly off if the mirror is imperfect. When he realizes the reflection he sees isn't real, it breaks. Because what's reflected in a mirror isn't quite what is really there. You see Seungmin in a room painting a picture that is copied many times before. Then he realizes that it is just going to be repeated to infinity of sameness, and he strikes a line through the painting to make it individual and imperfect. You see Lee Know approach a board with nonsense and half sayings scrawled across it by people in hoods that can only see right in front of themselves. He writes that he isn't & leaves. He isn't partaking in nonsense. You see Changbin in a room of tvs looking at his own smiling face. It looks forced & nothing like how he feels. So he covers his eyes & the room disappears. You see Hyunjin in a VR class learning something from a faceless teacher. Every time he tries to see who is teaching him there are more & more faceless teachers teaching the same thing, so he removes himself from the headset. You see Han in a spotlight seemingly worshiped by masses of people in front of him. Then he realizes that they are not actually paying him any attention. They are focused on the shadow he casts. So he turns his back on them. (There is actually a story about cave people worshiping the shadows created by someone who can see the sun. It's an interesting read. That is for sure being referenced here. It also references that people pay attention to idols in the spotlight, but only really care about the shadows they cast. Not the idol themselves, just the larger than life image of them.) You see I.N on a bus & when they pull up to a stop, he sees himself sitting there. This startles him & he gets off the bus. (This is actually important. It's the first GLITCH that happens & sets them in motion) You see Bang Chan in the beginning in a crowd of people, then he sees the glitch in the sky & it makes him realize there is something more. Something out there, just beyond what was handed to him & told this is what is. So he stops. The others stop with him. And then we start the story. It is a story of self discovery, growth, doubts, fears, and friendship.

I had to reinvent my thinking of "small town" when I moved to england, I feel the concept is hard to carry from country to country. the village I grew up in had less then 1k inhabitants and was mostly forest and some cows. I think I would have a major panic attack even just visiting south korea or somewhere else that densly populated!

이 is I or ee (if a syllable starts with a vowel, it always has O in front of it) Lee is actually just I (there is an explanation for it, but I can't remember why. Something to do with the original Chinese characters I think. They dropped the L part, but chose to keep it in the English translation) So his name is ee rino 리노 is R\Lino (L and R use the same character, and it depends on where in the syllable it is placed as to how you pronounce it. In this case it is R as he pronounces it Rino, and the English name he chose was Rhino) I think they still have those photos in their wallets. I am like Felix and have 'baby' taste. I like Mocha, which is more hot chocolate than coffee. I love how Lee Know always sticks the straw in the side of his mouth.
