She has the passion. I never offered to take her kayak fishing, I always took her worm fishing from the bank. She's the one that said she wanted to go catch bass with lures from the kayak. So here we are lol

Maybe one day I'll get more cameras and she can float on her own with her own camera. But for now the tandem works best for getting the catches on video. Plus it was easier for me to net that new PB 😁

Some really nice catches. The best catch is your sweet bride: Lovely lady, mom, and best fishin' buddy! She looks great in evey pic, especially the ones when she's wearing that floppy black hat. My wife was my best fishin' buddy, until she got Alzheimers disease...she passed away five years ago...fishin's not the same now. Treasure the time you have together.

Thanks so much for commenting and sharing your story. I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad the video was able to touch someone and bring back some of those precious memories. We will keep on fishing until we can't. A new video is coming soon of my wife catching her new PB. I'm just happy to have pictures and videos of these moments.

My dad did that once with some kind of snazzy Japanese rod. It was in the Atlantic. He sent it back to the company in 2 pieces and they sent him a new one with a note that said, “we couldn’t find anything wrong with this.”

@@scadrbrainz5304 Another time many many years ago I was fishing in the Grand River in Ohio and I got what I thought was a snag in the rocks. I tugged and tugged for a good 2 or 3 minutes and it finally broke loose. When I reeled the line in there was the biggest crawdad pincher I've ever seen that came out of that river! No crawdad. Just his pincher. I was amazed and bummed at the same time cuz you can't eat just a pincher. I mean...you can. But it ain't gonna sustain you for more than a few seconds.😱🤣🤣🤣

You guys are insane taking your dogs on trips like that idk me personally I think it nuts Alls it takes is that fish to cone loose on the end of your hook an that poor dog catches a hook to the eye then he freaks out an falls in th3 water an it's a wrap in telling you that izzz a dangerous spot for pup now maybe nothing has happened yet but why wait for that prevent it b4 it happens A bigger boat I would say no doubt but a tiny lil boat idk lol 😂 wild

Still really envy your weather. We're currently 26 degrees with blowing snow and a wind chill of about 15. lol. A nice easy relaxing day out on the bank for panfish is great. Keep 'em fishing!

Lol yeah it was the 1st week of December and 73°f in the middle of the day. Night got down to the 40°s but the weather was perfect for this trip. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching.
