I flew in one of these with two black hawks inside on my way to Afghanistan. We were literally flying on the edge ao space.

Did a few cart starts on the Phantoms, when inside the TAB VEE's, during my tour of duty, in Germany back in 74-76. Now that was "smokey" to say the least.

A good friend of mine is a Typhoon pilot and is at pains to tell me how much better Typhoons are then Tornados. Technically he's not wrong, but Tonkas are just cool as f@#k!

I was at this show, almost opposite where the Typhoon was waiting to depart, whilst the Tornado`s did their thing. Great display from the GR4`s role Demo, and a wonderful display from the Typhoon, before the CAA made the displays as lame as can be. As others have mentioned the displays by the RAF for the past 10 years or so have been ruined by wildly over cautious regulations and pushing aircraft further and further away from the crowd.

I was at this show, just opposite the hanger with the BAE Systems banner on it, the weather all week was a mixed bag, Friday arrivals was awful but both show days were good, some mad cluds about. The display was really well put together, lots of vapour and action in front of the crowd the entire time. Interesting to see the display from video, whenI was there I was taking photgraphs, so you miss bits of it.

Wow...I was a USAF A328X3 airborne maintenance and flew on this exact plane in 1979 and 1980 and was even stationed in Mildenhall, UK. Those were the days with this beast. Those were the old "water burner injected" engines in those days. Huge black plume of smoke when taking off. I watch this video over and over. Miss those days of being 20 years old, but then if I wanted to do it all over again, I might have to re-experience everything I went thru to get where I am now....maybe

I used to get to fly in this in the air cadets many years ago. Watching this makes me feel sick all over again 😅

Marham was their last operational base. Quieter now they've gone. We do of course have the F35s now but it's very rare you hear them being as there's only 26 in operation. I miss the old RAF when I last lived in this area, my dad was on Victor Servicing Flight, tanker crew. Skies were alive back in the 90s. Tornadoes, Jags, Victor's, last vulcan just before we left. It might be the junior service but my go it's the best 👌

The hunter must be one of the most beautiful looking aircraft ever created.they got the lines right when they designed this.and made at a time when Britain made aircraft instead of importing them
