I am going to try the Viking Double Edge safety razor had order some stuff with it such as bowl stand brush and some replacement blades with it. It comes Monday aiming to try it that Tuesday for the first time.

That was my first razor the Chiefton. I didn’t care for it so much. I went to the 34C after that and then the Rockwell razors and made me a better shaver.

So, is there a significant difference between the open comb that you're using and the same razor but with the solid bar? Would the open comb be a bit irritating if you were to use it say every day - at times? Thanks Super video by the way - as usual.

Question for all..... I have the Timeless Ti .68 and .95. I tend to be a fast shaver. Using personna blades. Would using a feather blade on the 68 make it feel more in between the 68 and 95 as far as blade efficiency??? Thanks.

Is it true that titanium had no risk of corrosion ? Even if you left your blade inside?

The blade will rust and I’m sure surface rest could get on the titanium, but I’m not sure if it would actually make an impression on it. Great question I’ll have to ask.

I'm still looking forward to you trying out the Karve Overlander, if it was still on your radar. I can't get enough of it as MY personal favorite razor. I tried the .38 Timeless Bronze and for me it was a tad too aggressive despite people saying it was mild yet efficient. The Overlander, to me, is the epitome of mild yet efficient and was more affordable as a "high-end" razor (if $180 is affordable to you).
