The melody of this song always conveyed to me (without understanding absolutely anything of the lyrics) a kind of wisdom, that kind of wisdom that happy people have and who loved deeply and passionately and who have a beautiful and spiritually healthy family, those people who reach the last stage of their life with the peace of mind of having done things well and with a lot of patience.

I remember Beverly Glenn-Copeland. He sang tree in the wood on ants in your pants when I was kid. It was such a calming beautiful recreation of the nursery song.
