Three yards If you want the gathers to be very full you can use more than that and the size of the person you are making it for determines the yards of fabric you can use but it should not be less than three yards.

After drafting the pattern for the half length, I used the pattern to cut the back half length first before cutting the front half length. Maybe you should watch the video carefully because that was of it
