This is from the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. Flores LaDue 2001 Cowgirl Honoree - Minnesota / Canada (1883-1951) The only cowgirl to claim three world championships for trick and fancy roping, Flores remained undefeated in the event. Growing up on a Sioux reservation, she began her career with a Wild West show and there met her husband, Guy Weadick. Together they organized and produced the first Calgary Stampede while operating a dude ranch and producing smaller rodeos. Flores is reputed to have been the first trick roper to perform the trick known as the Texas Skip.

Linda brown is absolutely crazy! I contacted her about taking photos of her gypsy vanners since I live close by and am a popular photographer in dfw. I was trying to build my equine photography at the time. She called me and we spoke and she corrected me right off the bat that it's gypsy Cobb not vanner, ok lady.... It's vanner but why are you so uptight about it?! She then went around telling me I couldn't take photos of her horses but considering she went on and on I misunderstood and wasn't sure what the heck her answer was so I asked, is your answer no? She laughed snidely "yessssss"... We'll excuse me for not being sure because you were too busy boasting on how you get 20 of "me" a day... Well no you don't Because I soon found out why her "half a million dollar estate and horses (that's in her own words) were not of her liking to be photographed, she lives on a tiny piece of land in a small mobile home looking house. The place is over run by the draft horses as if it were only used for breeding specifically. Her nasty attitude proved to be completely insane and full of lies to an innocent photographer. And the fact she claims she can take pictures like me because my photography "looks like a 5 years olds work" (again those are her words) I guess having over 3,000 and counting fans on my page must be proving my work sucks... My work isn't even competition to you because I actually succeed in it. I was calm and civil with her but then told her I didn't appreciate her crazy frontal attitude. There's a major insecurity in this woman and she is hard to reach online or anywhere else because of the fact she has done this to many others and has a huge number of enemies. Get yourself together Linda, as I saw by your location, you're not as great as I you claim to be!
