Certain plants wilt during midday because of the increased rate of transpiration as there is more sunlight and increased temperature. At night time the plants recover as the rate of transpiration decreases the stomata remains closed and very little or no transpiration occurs at night since there is no loss of water it recovers. 2. Transpiration is the price paid for photosynthesis because the amount of water that is required as a raw material for the manufacuture of food after being utilised the remaining water content is lost from aerial parts of the plant throgh transpiration..

If the pot as well is covered then the water from the soil would as well evaporate and form water vapour on the inner side of polythene bag then it would be hard to say if it was transpiration or evaporation mam...so the polythene must always be tied at the base of the stem.

We urinate frequently in winters as compared to summers because in summers exceess water and salta in our body is loss from sweat whereas in winters there is no sweating ,there is no way of removing excess salts and water through the body except theough urine. Therefore we frequently urinate in winter as compare to summers

Hi, myself Harshit and m from Uttar pradesh I want to answer those questions :) Q.) What is the chemical name of NaCl? ( this question is taken from 10:11 section of the lecture ) A.) The chemical name of NaCl is Sodium chloride. Q.) Why do WBCs are colorless? ( this question is taken from 20:11 section of the lecture ) A.) It is so because they don't have iron containing pigment known as haemoglobin . Q.) Fill ups :- ( bellow questions are taken from 35:50 section of the lecture) • Oxygen get transported from ..........to......... . • Carbon dioxide get transported from ............to.......... . • Nutrients get transported from ...............to............. . • Waste products get transported from ..............to............ . A.) • Oxygen get transported from LUNGS to CELLS . • Carbon dioxide get transported from CELLS to LUNGS . • Nutrients get transported from LIVER or STOMACH to CELLS . • Waste product get transported from BLOOD to KIDNEYS . _ Thankyou~ ('-')/ my insta id: harshit_shukla00oo

Hi, myself Harshit and m from Uttar pradesh , lucknow and I want to answer those questions :) These questions are derived from 8:13 section of the lecture. Q.) Name the parts A , B and C labelled in the diagram. A.) ▪︎A--->Afferent arteriole ▪︎B--->Glomerulus ▪︎C--->Bowman's capsule Q.) What is the collective term used for B and C? A.) The collective term used for B and C (Glomerulus and Bowman's capsule) known as Malphigian tubule. Q.) Why is the right kidney is at slightly lower than the left kidney? A.) The position of the right kidney is slightly lower than the left kidney due to the presence of the liver on the right side placed anterior to the kidney. To accommodate the liver the position of the right kidney Is slightly lower than the left kidney. Q.) Why an healthy person's urine is glucose free? (asked in 15:34 section of the lecture) A.)It is so because of the properly functioning kidney of an healthy person , the blood vessel will reabsorb glucose in the PCT section of the nephron by the Selective Reabsorbtion (one of the step in the formation of Urine). Now , below questions are taken from 16:28 section of the lecture. Q.) Name the structure represented in the diagram. A.) The structure represented in the diagram is nephron. Q.) What is the liquid entering part '1' called? A.) The liquid entering in part '1' (Bowman's capsule) is Glomerular filtrate . The two substances Glucose and Water are reabsorbed. Q.) What is the fluid that comes to part'2' called? A.) Urine is the fluid that comes to part'2'. Urea is the main Nitrogenous waste present in urine. Q.) Mention the main steps involved in the formation of urine. A.) The three main steps involved in the formation of urine are:- ▪︎Ultrafiltration ▪︎Selective Reabsorbtion ▪︎Tubular Secretion Q.) Name the substances which may be present in the fluid in part'2' if a person suffers from Diabetes mellitus. A.) Glusose is the substance present in the fluid if a person suffers from Diabetes Mellitus. _ Thankyou~ ('-')/ my insta id: harshit_shukla00oo

Hi , myself Harshit m from Uttar pradesh, lucknow and I want to answer those questions :) Q.) Label the parts numbered 1 to 4. A.) The name of the parts which are represented by numbers are :- ▪︎ (1.)--->Renal cortex ▪︎ (2.)--->Renal medulla ▪︎(3.)--->Renal pelvis ▪︎(4.)--->Ureter Q.) Why does part 2 have a striped appearance? A.) Part two of the diagram is an renal medulla and it has striped appearance because of some parts of the nephron present there , the parts like collecting duct and loop of henle. Q.) What is the fluid that passes down through part 4 of the diagram ? Name the main Nitrogenous wastes present in it. A.) Urine is the fluid that passes through ureter that is part 4 of the diagram . The main Nitrogenous wastes present in it is urea. Q.) Mention the structural and functional unit of kidney. A.) Nephron is the structural and functional unit of kidney. Q.) Name the two major steps in the formation of the fluid mentioned in (iii.) . A.) The two major steps required for the formation of urine (fluid mentioned in iii.) :- ▪︎Ultrafication ▪︎Selective reabsorbtion _ Thankyou~ ('-')/ my insta id: harshit_shukla00oo

Q.) Name the parts labelled A,B,C and D. A.) ▪︎ A--> Inferior Venacava ▪︎ B--> Aorta ▪︎ C--> Renal artery ▪︎ D--> Renal vein Q.) Give the main function of the parts labelled E , F , G and H. A.) The main function of the parts labelled E , F , G , and H are :- ▪︎ E that is Urether or Ureter (may be the spelling is wrong , sry '-' ) - it carries urine from Kidneys to Urinary bladder. ▪︎ F that is Urinary bladder - it temporarily stores urine in it. ▪︎ G that is Spincter - it gaurds the opening of urinary bladder. ▪︎ H that is Urethra - it expells urine out from the body. Q.) Name the endocrine gland , which could be added in the diagram and state its location. A.) Adrenal gland is the gland which could be added in the diagram , it is located on the top of each kidney in the upper abdomen. Q.) Why we urinate more in winters than in summers? A.) It is so because in summers the ammount of water (Nitrogenous wastes ) we shed in the form of sweat is more than in winters therefore no more excess of water left to be drained through urethra , the procedure is reversed in winters. _ Thankyou~ ('-')/ insta id--->harshit_shukla00oo

Hi, myself Harshit (from Uttar Pradesh , lucknow) and i'll be very happy to answers those questions :) Q.) Define Excretion. A.) Excretion is the process of removal of harmful , unwanted , toxic , nitrogenous metabolic waste from the body of an organism. Q.) Name the organ in which urea is formed. A.) Liver is the organ in which urea is formed. Q.) Name three nitrogenous metabolic wastes found in human body. A.) The three nitrogenous metabolic wastes found in human body are :- ▪︎ Amonia ( highly toxic and highly soluble in water) ▪︎ Urea ( less toxic and less soluble in water) ▪︎ Uric acid (least toxic and least water soluble) Q.) Name two excretory organs in humans. A.) The two excretory organs in humans are :- ▪︎Kidneys ▪︎Lungs _ Thankyou~ ('-')/
