Waste, Fraud and Abuse is a major factor in the NPS failure to provide core educational experiences to students. All public schools should focus on solid education in the core subject areas and forget about the social justice/liberation theology. The struggle continues for those who are bound by these ideologies of division.

Trump is making a play to get rid of the Office of Education so that the zealots can move in at the state level and take control of the curriculum. He is going to essentially handle this in the same way as he has abortion, leaving it up to the states.

Republicans hate kids. No one says a peep about the outrageous & extreme unequal funding of schools. Poor kids go to dilapidated buildings with little resources and overcrowded classrooms. Meanwhile, already rich kids' school districts give them laptops with small class sizes and extravagant bldngs. Equality of opportunity is dead. And ⚠️ sadly, tragically, that unequal funding never comes up as an issue 😢

The curriculum is already up to the states. Most other countries in the world have bilingual citizens. Promoting the learning of other languages besides just English will open so many opportunities for our future leaders, future scientists, and future artists.
