I'm looking for a wood cookstove with the biggest firebox and then reburning tubes or reburning ceiling tray. So biggest firebox and most efficient.

Anthracite is NOT the most economical.. over 500$ 2 yrs ago for.1 ton. I went to bituminous.. unfortunately, it is dirty and is more dangerous. (i have added an inline fan to keep a flame when restoking with coal as I had 2 explosions inside stove due to gas build up). Love Anthracite but can't afford it any longer.

Do any of these have a glass window/door for firebox?

Center flue and bun warmer would make this product great.

I do the same and simply run a hot fire to clean the glass. To me, it looks like they are restricting the air too much at some point in the burn process to get that much buildup in the first place, OR, the wood is wet.

So can it only take a 12" log? That seems wrong for some reason. the opening and firebox looks much larger than 12"

I'm looking for a outdoor stove for cooking. Florida hurricanes we lose power for days and weeks.

I've had my DS 300 now for 6 years and I love it. Heats my old farmhouse of 2500 square feet with no issues. My only wish is that the price of coal would come down, can't justify burning coal so now only burning wood. At least i'm getting roughly 15 hrs of burn time. DS stove company is great and fully support their stoves.
