That's a good question but it probably had to do with Diane blackmailing Henry about his illegitimate son Sean Ryan, who turned out to be Quinton.

This scene here is where Vanessa brought out the old fangs. I loved that they remembered her past and that she was someone not to mess with.

While YES I lived this version of Vanessa, I loved her evolution into Billy’s wife. However when Jill Phelps came on board she reinvigorated Vanessa with her romance with Matt which I loved that storyline. JF also mined Vanessa’s inner Bitch when Alexandra was giving Monday all sorts of shit when Mindy was with NICK. They didn’t have to bring people back or bring up past storylines because old time viewers knew Vanessa had it in her. The same with the Peter storyline. One thing I loved about the Phelps era was they made the charecters more emotionally driven by very real fears and love.

Tony could be such a jerk to Nola at times. I know she was not exactly a model citizen at this time but he did talk down to her a lot and making her feel bad for not marrying boring Floyd. She was smart to spare Floyd a miserable life. It was not until later that she became close with Tony

I never realized they used the name Violet for his wifes name. Lol. Loved the early Quinton and Nola. He was so intriguing and very romantic. And so very easy on the eyes. And Nola was such a hopeless romantic and so very beautiful in her own unique way. Never has there been another couple even close to their very special chemistry these two shared. RIP Michael Tylo and Lisa Brown

Thanks for uploading. The credits must be from early 1983, as the first Rick actor is credited here, and Michael O Leary took over in May 1983.Also other characters such as Beth, Lillian, Billy & Mindy started out in May, and they are all not credited here yet. Never heard this end theme before.

Michael passed away in October, then Lisa passed away on the 24th of November. This used to be my favorite soap opera.

Yes he did fall in love with her. I liked it when she changed the baby's name from Kelly Louise to Anastasia, calling the baby Stacy.

@@waterlilyqueen No, it didn't seem apparent they were starting to fall in love until the next spring after Kelly Louise came home from the hospital and they started to bond together. As far as the name goes, Nola was still selfish and vindictive just after she gave birth. Morgan (Kelly's wife) confronted Nola in the hospital before Nola had a chance to name the baby. Morgan was insecure in her marriage and thought Nola was trying to trap Kelly again even though his obligation to Nola's care in the hospital required a lot of interaction with her. Out of spite, after the argument, Nola decided to name her newborn baby Kelly to cause trouble in Morgan and Kelly's marriage.

My very favorite Quint and Nola kiss. It always baffles me that how 2 totally different people have the most electrifying chemistry. Quint and Nola could have never become a super couple if someone else played either one of them. And it wasnt till their trip to London that it sparked. Before that they were actually kind of awkward together. But once it sparked there was no no stopping it.

It is very difficult to watch these clips since the passing of Michael Tylo. He seemed so genuine and brought all his characters to life. RIP Michael but your legendary characters will live on.

One of my fav Couple(s) on the Guiding Light iconic Storylines🌠Quint n Nola. Quint McCord/Quinton Chamberlain & Nola Reardon had a Mystery chiller Storyline. GL legends Actor🎆s Ms. Lisa Brown & Mr. M. Tylo had have great chemistry. Sorrowful to hear of Micheal Tylo passing 💔felt condolences to his Family n Soap Families.
