Wait, the bus I took on my birthday last year was out of the Port Coquitlam Transit Centre, then the Richmond Transit Centre, then the Surrey Transit Centre and now currently in the Vancouver Transit Centre? I wonder if he misses the other places he’s been? He’d probably be good friends with the 2019 XN40s in Surrey 😂

Give or take about 5 or 6 D40LF's are still in revenue service and another handful are training units.

Nice showcase of a C40LFR! It's interesting to me cause I usually see this route using hybrid Novabuses from the Hamilton transit centre.

Back then these buses were quite common on this route, same with the Cummins D40LF's when they were operated out of Poco. During the weekdays there was a BTC tripper during the PM peak hours so you were able to ride L Drive Novabuses and HEV's on the 101.

Sorry for the late reply but nope ! You were able to ride L- Drives on the 101 during peak rush hour on selected trips. I actually have a video somewhere on my channel of I think 9662 on the 101.

BC Transit still has some D40LFs with Detroit Diesel Series 50 engines but they are with Voith transmissions except for one being 9753 has an Allison B400R transmission however it is not expected to be in service for much longer.
