Turn in was fine in fast corners. It was the slow corners where it was bad, and aero doesn't make as much difference when going slow. Think the setup was just stiff to keep it stable with zero wing

@nickcarlson7950 Craig's setup shop dude. It's not as good as it used to be, but it's free if you have amazon prime and the downloader software is good. They stopped doing GTE setups last season, but I used a season 2 setup in this race and still works fine

@@JimmySmithYT thanks. I’m using VRS now and just wanted another option. VRS tends to be a little looser and seems like what you had was pretty stable.

​@nickcarlson7950 ah don't you worry, Craig's can be pretty unstable too 😂. What I have been doing recently is if one is unstable, try a setup from a different season. I used to just accept I couldn't drive that car and try a different car, wasted so much time. Majors garage do free setups for every car which are always stable, but I'm pretty sure they just change the aero on the baseline setup, so are still understeery

​@nickcarlson7950 honestly dude try Craig's if you have an amazon prime account, if you don't have one just ask a friend or relative to use theirs. You just connect it to a twitch account so you get a free subscription to subscribe to craig. With it you get qually setup, race setup, endurance setup, wet setup, downloadable replay file, and he puts a fast one lap video of every setup on KZbin, which has been mad helpful. I watch them when I'm unsure about a gear for a corner, and almost every time the video will surprise me and save me a few tenths. Current series he's doing setups for is imsa, gt Sprint, Porsche cup, super formula and falken challenge, and a couple of others I think. There are still years worth of gte and all other cars setups available on there too though. The way the downloader also puts everything automatically in to the correct folders is also a win.

I loaded up the replay, was about 8 meters away from the barrier compared to p1 😂

@@JimmySmithYT sounds good.....the second incident you mentioned his terrible rejoin but it cut off right before he rolled forward and hit my tire .....car wasnt controllable after that

No turn is first gear in the BMW. Can't do monza unfortunately, am on holiday. Only got to do VRS this week. Was a banger though. I don't normally upload a video as soon as I've done the race otherwise there would be 4 uploads on one day and nothing else for the week

@@JimmySmithYT maybe.....it's first gear for a few meters just to engine brake and rotate the car and then short shift to 2nd before approaching the wall

I just switched from triple 1080 to 1440 7800x3d 4070ti and most tracks run great but Sebring very taxing, great race tho only just found your channel will sub

@@royalefurygaming2296I’m running a single 4k@120 TV with a 8700k and 6800xt and can confirm Sebring hits different. Most races I stay 90+. Sebring I dip to the 70’s.

It’s not that bad. Think I pay 7 dollars a month, haven’t bought any cars or tracks yet this year. F1 games are like 80 bucks on release every year, so I don’t see much difference.

@@JimmySmithYT Yes - however the cost of having a lot of cars and all the tracks (especially all the road courses) is VERY expensive. I can't say I have felt like my money was well spent in iRacing.

The bop is not normally good. Porsche is normally the fastest, especially at tracks with lots of turns. I think BMW is fastest with lots of straights. I normally use Craig’s setup shop. You can get the setups for free if you have access to an Amazon prime account. If not then maybe try the free setups at majors garage
