Disgusting. Rather than talk about the real reason for the infidelity, All they talk about is Devils plan and Gods plan, forgiveness, seeing yourself bla bla bla... Shameless..both of them..

I will try to do this because I really need and desire to change and I believe meditating on God's word will help me to change. Please pray for me that I will be successful and do this right. Thank you.

I watched this video and am reading Chris' book. I think it would be helpful to define what is meant by self - help and why it potentially could become a trap. The topic raises many interesting questions and just how we should navigate the tension between spiritual truth, personal responsibility, the striving spoken about by Paul in 1 Cor 9:27 as well as the admonition to seek out wisdom and counsel from others. Could self-help fall into the latter category when approached with discernment?
@bhholder8782Ай бұрын
This is a topic that definitely needs to be addressed. We do need to stop this.

God can change the desires of our hearts to be His desires for us in our lives. Plus, even directing us on how to do his will in our lives. God's direction is the best thing and the most important thing ever.

True success is obedience to God alone! I am now opening my hands to loosely holding God's dream for me, and I very much have moved past from striving to surrendering everything unto The Lord to really work in my life. I 100% learned this from you Wade! Thank you for helping me getting to this place in my life that I'm now in.

Magic sky people don't exist. That's why you've never seen any, and why people had to write the Bible. Common sense says you'd write your own book if you were a magic space alien who created the universe and not have people mess it up.

Thanks for the nice sermon, honestly, it was very helpful as it was just what I needed for where I was finding myself at the moment. It is powerful and building. Blessings and may you and your loved ones experience the Lord's peace even more mightily forward. Amen.
