Try to make your finger very flat, almost arching it the opposite way and hit the strings towards your top knuckle as it is very flat and bony so it will slide on the string much gentler than the tip of the finger which has more flesh

absolutely wonderful job. I'd love to see you tackle his live version that's the first thing you find if you search this song title with his name, it is truly a masterpiece of pacing and I think you'd handle it so well given how well your foundation has already been constructed

Thanks a lot ! I see the version you’re talking about, might give it a try someday but it seems much harder to play than the more laid back way I’m playing it… And it’s always hard to change the way you’re playing a tune when it has been ingrained in your ears/fingers from practicing haha

Thanks :) it gets easier with time, if I can give a tip try to play while doing something else once in a while (like watching a video) so your brain is forced to put the guitar playing in subconscious/muscle memory

I couldn’t find much info about Luiz but I read other KZbin comments like yours talking about meeting him. He seemed very down to earth and friendly for a man of his talent

@@AJPGuitar I play about 35 of his songs (not always well) but I have enjoyed playing them tremendously. The guitars he had at the time were a Gianinni, a Del Vecchio and a Di Giorgio.
