Sounds a lot like English, but I can’t understand a darn thing this man says. 20 minutes in and I still have no idea what regenerative farming is or why it matters.

I am SO TIRED of the entire till or no till idiocy. No till was very popular in the 80:s. Concerning all the studies in the past 40 years, the till or no till-discussionl is getting fucking old. No Till or full till was equally bad. If it's of any actual interest to increase soil organic matter, if you go with organic fertilisers, limited tillage, and especially COVER CROPS, that IS THE BEST way of increasing soil organic matter / soil carbon level. No need of any further stupid discussion.

Maybe it was govt. Chem trails. Would vinegar rain in town kill everybody's lawn?

Wow, what a firework and wealth of information. It isn't always easy to follow, but it's absolutely worth it. For beginners: get the basics straight first. John Kempf and Christine Jones do a good job.

Conected ponds with trees around it , and north south rows of trees helps a lot too. You can produce fish in the ponds too, fish is very healthy food.

It seems like you might have missed something. I’d recommend his interviews on the Regenerative Agriculture Podcast which are a bit more formal.

Re question asked at about 1:18:40 “soluble C from plant exudates” - very recent research indicates that at least some of the exudate C is being converted to stable or recalcitrant C, while soil microbes are stimulated by the exudates to assimilate some soil organic C (ie, priming). The knowledge keeps ‘evolving’ much more assuredly than the theory of evolution.

Extremely interesting, I studied Environmental Biology hoping to learn about this kind of thing and came away with very little, when they got into marine environments they lost me completely lol. My interests are in soil health as the determining factor in animal health and production. I believe that organic or chemical if the soil doesn't have it or if it's locked up in some way then the plants can't pass it on to my animals.

Thank you for putting this on YT. It can be frustrating when all the resources online that are easy to find are not in Texas nor in a climate even close to our extremes.
