If the new technology (including this new engine) was installed on the classic frame, this surely would skyrocket the CB 400 sales. I don't know whether this new design is real or not, but it definitely doesn't look as appealing as the classic one😢.

I wish I knew what you were talking about, and, I wish you did at the beginning of this video, you stated that this motorcycle has a four-cylinder engine. How can you expect us to believe anything else you say when you have made a gigantic mistake, identifying the heart of the motorcycle, which is an eight cylinder. You have lost all credibility with this video, you need to delete it and redo it correctly.. this is a bad look for the SOUO because if the company allows this incorrect video to go public, what other mistakes have they made mechanically in this machine that they are going to just let go because it’s “good enough “ well, good enough is not good enough for this size of an investment.. this motorcycle is aimed at the Goldwing crowd, are they aware that Honda announced early in 2024 that they are no longer going to produce the Honda Goldwing due to eat you emissions standards that cannot possibly be met by the Goldwing, and eight other Honda motorcycles that will be discontinued because of the EU emissions requirements of the future . in that event, this motorcycle will have no competition in the multi cylinder, luxury touring market… as for the extras on this machine, I’m really not interested. I have had three Yamaha ventures, eight BMW, K 1200 LT, a Goldwing, GL, 1800, and dozens of other motorcycles. On the motorcycles that had radios and intercoms and a lot of other electronic entertainment features… I can honestly say that I have never listened to all of those sound systems combined for more than 15 minutes. As a matter of fact, I never turned the radio on on my Goldwing or my BMW.. that was a minor problem when I sold those motorcycles because I could not prove they worked to the new buyer. We had to go on KZbin to learn how to operate the radio on my Goldwing. It turned out that it was in the mute mode. .. when I sold my first, Venture, which was the venture royale, that had a feature that using the ignition key, you could completely remove the radio by lifting it out of the fairing slot, and using the included cover that covered the hole where the radio was. When I sold my Venture, after 16 years, I had to hunt for the radio says that I could included in the sale… I do not like being required to pay for all of these gadgets and gizmos I never use.. when the Goldwing interstate was first offered, and when the Yamaha 1200 cc Venture was first offered in 1983, you could buy those motorcycles without the extra cost of the radio and CB and intercom. My Venture was an 86, and the sound system, CB, intercom was included in the package… The only things I appreciate on a big touring bike like my current, Venture, my third venture by the way. Is, a windshield that I can see over, cruise control, soft, canceling, turn signals, I wish it had a center stand like my Goldwing head, and my BMW, and I really dislike Power locks on the saddlebags and trunk. That makes doing maintenance needlessly over complicated and increases the price of the motorcycle greatly… satellite navigation systems are nice, but they are usually outdated within a few years. It would be better to have a system that you could plug your phone into a screen on the dashboard that would display the phone screen for GPS navigation that is always updated in telephones today… I am interested in this SOUO motorcycle. I cannot see how the company is going to offer a dealer network across the country here in the United States for these machines. The 1985 Harley Davidson tariff on imported motorcycles to the United States, wiped out the motorcycle market from outside of the United States. There used to be 22 Japanese motorcycle dealerships within an hour of my home before the tariff. Here 40 years later, there are only three motorcycle dealerships within an hour of my home. There are zero BMW dealerships that survived, zero moto guzzi dealers that survived the 1985 tariff… I really can’t see a market for this motorcycle. If this is going to be the only model they offer. They have to have an established dealer net work, and some companies like Honda are pretty funny about their dealers having multiple brands under the same roof. I was a part-time motorcycle salesman in the late 70s and early 80s. And a Honda/Suzuki dealership I worked for that had five other salesman got the Kawasaki franchise years later, and they had to build a completely separate standing building just for Kawasaki because of the resistance they got from Honda.. I worked there for several years, and then the tariff was applied to imported motorcycles, and they went bankrupt within a few years.. So I will be watching, and I am very anxious to see this motorcycle in person, and take it for a test ride

Yamaha should make a retro Style of the early XS model but with a 750cc Engine & 6speed gearbox..think it would sell well..

Good looking tour bike. Time to upgrade the engine though as a twin is so 60's. Yamaha can whip up a V6 version if they want to truly kick butt. They can keep the V-twin for those who want old school but for me if it hasn't got a six pack or better (see the great wall motor company's Souo S2000GL boxer 8 cylinder 2000cc engine in four variants) then it is not a front runner for me. You may like a twin - everyone is different.
