The video was helpful. I had to use pliers carefully to squeeze and pull the connector off of the bulb since using my hand was not enough.

I get nervous when I see people using uni body cars for these types of work loads. A 2 inch hitch receiver with a minimum of 500lbs of tongue weight are required for safety transporting this type of load. Their is also a leverage effect for any length beyond the hitch ball that further reduces the hitch load capacity. Be Safe.

Quite a bit of oil on the passenger plugs. It looks like your valve cover gasket is leaking. I’d suggest changing that out before you start getting more oil your cylinder. Great video by the way.

Do the screws on the bottom need to be tightened? I got OEM bars and the screw driver doesn’t fit the heads of the torx screws on the bottom

Nice setup. I built a full bed sized frame to prevent shifting, with a section over the axles sized for 10 4x8x16 cap blocks. Blocks don't break open and spill over the years. You can add a second layer for more weight. 300 lbs per layer. Blocks are used for other projects after winter, like weighing down the basketball hoop. Cheap and adjustable.

Thank you very much for the video. It is very informative and interesting. For those who plan on doing this, I would suggest slowing down/stopping once the limb is very close to failure. You usually want a more elastic (slower) failure, this usually results in a more controlled fall closer to the trunk.

This piece of junk is nothing special. I have used this for a month and it leaks like a sieve. Contacted C. Service for a leaky leak drain. A two dollar piece. All I got was a hard time. Do yourself a favor stay away from this JUNK!!!

Certified outboard tech here, pls remember to be careful when removing the linkage pin. This is what connects your power head shifter to the lower unit shift shaft. Smacking it repeatedly with enough force can throw your shifter out of line or even bend your shift shaft. Also note the discoloration on the drive shaft, this is indicating that the drive shaft has gotten hot sometime during operation. A bad impeller can cause this but with the condition the one in the video was in its highly unlikely. Chest all passageways for scale build up or chunks of crud.

Looks to me like they could have extended that exhaust 3 inches so the pan would clear

on the Malibu bowtie they have this dimpled texture so it did not work for me i also cleaned it with alcohol let it dry pit adhesive promoter on waited a lil bit then put the wrap over it and hit it with thr head gun but will not stick in gave up aftet 2 fails lol
