I spent a month living in the national Forest with my wife. We gathered all of our water from a nearby stream, and filtered and purified it ourselves. It was one of our daily chores. I would love to live in the mountains full time someday. I would not want have to spend all that money on water. I think you should set up at your own method for water filtering and purification.

Looks like you need to build your daughter her own little hideout. Maybe adjacent to the doghouse so they can visit each other.

Seen a few reviews of this holster and the rattling seems to be a common theme. Bedone makes a very similar holster, but addresses this issue.

All due respect brother, but PLEASE take those felt stickers out of the inside of the holster. Anything you put INSIDE the holster like that could interfere with or get caught up in the trigger when REholstering and cause a negligent discharge. DO a quick internet search to see what I mean. Nothing wrong with a tiny rattle in a locking holster, as long as your pewpew draws and inserts SAFELY without interference. And PLEASE @2:12 watch the flagging your face while filming....the KZbin nannies will tear you up over that, and we wouldn't wanna see anybody hurt themselves while doing a holster review. All that said, how are you liking it a year later?

How hot does it get them red bulbs get hot as hell
@KS_OUTDOORS919 ай бұрын
I don't turn the bulbs on till it's under like 50 degrees. Last year when we were in the single digits it stayed about 60-70 in there. I have the bulbs set up to where I can turn them on/off individually depending on the temp. Also walmart sells a wireless thermometer that I can read from inside my house!

How has it held up over time for you? Did you change to a different holster? I'm in the market for an owb holster for my G2C and not looking to break the bank too bad
@KS_OUTDOORS9111 ай бұрын
I still use it now! Carry it all the time at the land we have. I ride ATVs and stuff and have never had an issue of it falling out. It's still comfortable as well. I recommend it! Only thing is I had to adjust the screws a little to adjust the "cant" (angle) of the gun.
@KS_OUTDOORS9111 ай бұрын
Also, I added the cushions things to help keep it from rattling. They've held up this long

@Ks_HandymanAndLawnMaintenance Sweet. Thanks so much for the replies. That's exactly the kind of things I was looking to know. Where I am, you never know if you're going to encounter a wild hog that may or may not run away immediately, so I always want to always have something with me even if just a 9. Easier to just have that on my belt than to always have to have a rifle within reach when I'm out doing stuff on my land.

I’m in Iowa our winters can be brutal, I’ll be bringing my dog inside on extreme temps, what’s the coolest it has gotten where you live and did you gauge the temp in the house? What temp did you get? Also I’ve heard some dogs getting pneumonia from heat lamps, ever heard anything like that?
@KS_OUTDOORS91 Жыл бұрын
My dogs haven't ever gotten sick, but that could be possible. I will make an updated video this winter. It has all new couch cushions in it now. I think one of the most important things is to have them up off the ground, so their bellies don't get cold. My big dogs are long-haired, so they like the cold. Last year, it got in the single digits, and we expecting freezes again this year. (We are in texas) The dog house stayed above 60 degrees, though! I bought a thermostat from Walmart for about $30 that has a wireless display. So the display is on my desk showing me what the temp in the doghouse is. During these hot months they actually have an ac unit In it right now. Keeping it 70 degrees or cooler!
