Thank you for sharing your work. It’s possible that the kitchen sink was greasier than the other surfaces, and that inhibited the disinfecting, as it would with Lysol, isopropyl, bleach, or other disinfectants which are not soap.

I just watched your video again. I thought you had used one scoop but you used TWO SCOOPS to sanitize. That's roughly four loads in a container to sanitize four loads of laundry. It's not locally available, I need to drive 1/2 hour to the next town over to find this at Lowe's. I guess this won't work for me for the cost involved. I am very thankful and appreciative of your videos. I like how you do things and I love your voice. Thank you for doing these videos.

I would love to see you do a testing on the Force Of Nature cleaning product that use salt water and some also use vinegar. I know you already tested it but would be interesting to see how it holds up to removing bacteria without the wait time involved in it. I always wonder about that when cleaning with it. Sometimes I wait and sometimes not, so then I wonder. Thanks! Love watching your videos. ~~~Peace~~~

Best to not buy from MLM scams, even if you think you are "supporting" a friend it really only pushes them deeper into the scam and sets them up for further failure. It's a horribly predetory industry.

I don't mind MLMs if the product is something I need or works well. This one, I won't be purchasing because there are other alternatives that I like better. But there are lots of people who already purchase Young Living products who might be interested in a product with these results.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication into producing this video for us. I've never used this product before; until today. I bought the aerosol can version to spray in and around bedding. I found that when the can gets to being half full, it starts to pour out from under the push button nozzle. That's not a good thing. I bought the "Lavender" scent one, too.

I always wonder when they say "leave wet for 10 minutes" because naturally some starts to evaporate and dry over that time...if it does that before 10 minutes is up, are we supposed to rewet it again?!
@FieldOfFocus
@FieldOfFocus 2 күн бұрын
Force of Nature does not have any drying agents in it, so it is unlikely to dry within the 10 minutes. It could absorb, depending on the surface you are spraying. However yes, if you are using a product and it says 5 min or 10 min or 20 second wet/sit time, then you can reapply if it dries before the allotted time. Thanks for watching. I do have an updated FON video where I test much shorted sit times: Force of Nature Review- Extensive Bacteria Testing and More! kzbin.info/www/bejne/aJiZhISopNp1p68

After watching this, though, I think I want to buy a lot more cleaning cloths and was them separately also with Lysol laundry sanitizer just to be extra careful/clean. So for products that are classified as a sanitizer or disinfectant they will often have the strains of bacteria that the particular product targets. So let's say it targets a bacteria commonly found in bathrooms, then that product may not be the best for kitchen bacteria. For a cleaner, like Branch Basics, they do not make claims so they do not have a list of bacteria that it is effective against.

You may just have saved my life. I'll try these oils going forward, that is the oregano and thyme oil. I've been struggling with chronic UTI's for 7 years now with no respite. I've been on ciprofloxacin orally and intravenously more times than I cam count. I just hope it doesnt spread to my kidneys at this rate. Can you recommend the brand for the oils you use and if there's a recommended method and dosage for ingesting.

I would suggest when using Dr Brenner's product in the bathroom, particularly the toilet area, I would add somthing like tea tree oil to the mix as a disinfectant. This I believe would increase its effectiveness. Just a thought. Couldn't hurt everywhere else either, what do you think?

For this channel I test one product at a time, for this video it was Dr Bronners Castille Soap. I did not add anything to it because I wanted to see how it worked on its own. Many people clean with a soap based product first, and then finish with a sanitizer or disinfectant. How you clean is up to you! Thanks for watching!

Hi! New to your channel. I was wondering if its possible to do the same test but the difference of water temprature. I am curious to see if theres is a difference of using cold or hot water to clean. Technically, most of the bacteria found in sinks (e. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, salmonella, etc) should not survive at 60 if not 70 celcius. That means that if water above the temperature 60/70 degrees C is used on bacteria then a change on before/after should be easily visible when compared to cold water.

What a fascinating video! I looked up Oxiclean Laundry & Home Sanitizer ( we have different brands in my country) and realised it's not just regular oxygen bleach but has an activator (TAED) in it that really enhances the effectiveness of the oxygen bleach (as we saw!). Like many people, I like to PRE-SOAK my extra dirty/gross microfibre cloths in a bucket of warm water with either vinegar (1 part vinegar 3 parts water) or oxygen bleach (as per pre-soak instructions) for a few hours before chucking them in the washing machine. I would love to see a comparison of which pre-soak method is more effective. In other words: Vinegar vs AOB (activated oxygen bleach) vs regular oxygen bleach ------ And FYI for microfiber cloth users, don't use water that's too hot. No more than 140F/60C or you can damage the cloths (essentially melting the fibres like plastic). Warm or not-too-hot is good because it opens the tiny fibres up so they can let go of what they're holding on to, but not to the point where you damage them. This goes for using a dryer for them too - low heat or no heat only. Oh, and never use fabric softener or bleach!

Great video, thank you for posting this! I'm curious, have you evaluated the sanitizing effect after a delay? My concern is that plating the samples from the recently sanitized area on the nutrient-rich agar may artificially rescue a portion of the bacteria that would otherwise have not survived. It would be interesting to see the results after a 2-4 hour delay, and it would even fit with your plating scheme; B: before, A: after, C: control, D: delay. Again, great video!
