I'm between this and the pocket 4k. Pros vs cons... I can't decide... What are your thoughts? Cheers :)
@horizontalmedia3 ай бұрын
I know the feeling, took me a few months before I decided to switch from pocket 4k. The biggest reason for me is the size and shape, I loved everything about the pocket 4k, it's so easy to use but it's in odd shape and size and terrible battery life and rigging it up makes it too big. The Micro G2 of course has many limitations one being no playback and can only record in one resolution. It's a tough choice !

Can you control everything from the screen ?
@horizontalmedia3 ай бұрын
You cannot control the camera settings from the monitor if that's what you mean.
@zechenwei11393 ай бұрын
I heard that the new Pyxis monitor is compatible with the micro g2? If true, that sounds like a killer combo as well(with all the camera control on the monitor, etc.)
@horizontalmedia3 ай бұрын
I heard people asking about it but don't know if it's compatible, also the monitor connects with USB-C and the G2 only records to USB-C.

Nice rig! I’m still undecided if I should get the micro or the pocket? I really like the micro because it’s so small. However, I’m leaning more towards the pocket G2 because I already have several EF lenses, it comes with DaVinci, a good monitor, a larger sensor and it records in 6D. It also has two mininXML mic jacks plus the ability to steady the video post production in DaVinci with extra info recorded from the camera.
@horizontalmedia3 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏. Yes, I get this camera because of its size. I used to own pocket 4k and although I loved everything about it, it's just a pain for travel. But I think the 6k g2 have better value.

Nice vid. How do you color correct your footage, wth a Color Space Transform? You should try and stay on the native ISO. I notice you were at 200. Try the same shots at 400 which is 0db and compare them. Keep up the good work.
@horizontalmedia6 ай бұрын
Thank you 🙏. Yes I use CST all the time, now together with film look creator. Most of the time I tried to stay at the native ISO or close, in this video I didn't bring any ND filters so it was quite too bright.
