和央ようか＆花總まり版のドラキュラ好きだなぁ ドラキュラの髪型はショートの方が良かったんじゃないかとは思うけど、エリザベートのトートがロングだからなぁ… ロングなら地毛じゃなくてトートっぽい銀髪カツラの方があってたんじゃないかな

雪組ファントム観てきました～真彩ちゃんも望海さんもかなり歌がお上手でした声量も滑舌も最強でした(初演も観てます) エリザベートもファントムも初演最強論がありますが、今回は初演を抜いたなって思いました(^^)d

I know this was uploaded years ago, but I need to get this out;; I don't like it at all. I usually admire Wao Youka's performances, but this one... Verführung (meaning SEDUCTION, btw) is supposed to be a very powerful scene but this is just... meek. I was hoping the years had my initial impressions distorted and that I would like it now but they stayed the same, huh.

Japan has weird theater history where man play the roles of female and female play the roles of men

Not just Japan! In Shakespeare's day, all the roles were played by men.

@@MaskedMan66 yes, and for basically the same reason. The governments thought theater was a front for prostitution, so they banned women. Japan does not have a history of women playing mens roles until recently.

Es ist nicht "Dracula als Frau". Der Charakter ist immer noch männlich. Die Tatsache, dass eine Frau ihn spielt, ist nebensächlich.

No it's not. Wildhorn's Dracula is EVERYTHING BUT androgynous. The role is clearly written for a male and it's filled with sexual tention. This was just done 'cause it was Yoka Wao who wanted to do the show and play the role. It's a vanity project of hers. Otherwise there wouldn't have been a female Dracula. You're right about Der Tod in Elisabeth but dead wrong about Dracula.

Dracula is played by female, formally an otokoyaku from takarazuka (google). Because frank wildhorn's vision of dracula is that of an androgyonous person. He kept this spot specially for wao youka. I cld see much better makeup for wao-san, but her stage presence,acting and singing are pretty amazing.

I hate to be that guy but actually this was a performance put on by Wao Yoka and Frank Wildhorn after Wao Yoka retired from Takarazuka so Wao Yoka is the only crossdressing person in this production. Although I think she still has that otokoyaku charm from her time as top star.
