Brings me back to the Redford Inn on Whyte Ave in Edmonton. Saw them there a couple times in the 90s. Then I saw them open for Collective Soul in Victoria in the 2010s. They were great then too! Such a good band.

Todd Kerns the lead singer now also fronts a band called Toque which is made of all Canadian musicians with some serious musical resumes. They only perform Canadian classic hits and some of thier own singles. Go see them if you get a chance.

I wanna thank Jared Keeso for bringing me here - I thought I had a good handle on Canadian music, but Letterkenny and Shoresy showed me how much I have to learn.

Why does that bassist keep the bass so high up on his body?

I first saw Age of Electric play a live acoustic set on Much Music. I immediately fell in love with the band. My mom got me their CD for XMas and I listened to it non stop. What a great era for music 😢

Limblifter came during/after the ashes of THE AGE OF ELECTRIC who were fucking great as well, In 1991 my Aunt (TARA) got this new band (AOE) on Cassette, It was THE LATEST PLAGUE, she also had the t-shirt/poster (poster was about a foot or so). RAPID CITY is 1 of the greatest songs ever in rock history imo. Its 2 bad Latest Plague wasnt released on CD/Vinyl. Limblifter, Static In Stereo, Tea Party, I Mother Earth etc were all awesome bands outta Canada.
